Waking up and opening the windows for the sun to come in with the river view was priceless. The nights are so peaceful and quiet. Friends and families stayed with us and loved as well. "Our four night stay at Casa do Santo was FANTASTIC! The estate is beautiful, elegant and stylish, and Maria and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and to make you feel spoiled. The included breakfast was excellent, and so was the dinner that the estate offers upon request. Our room was spacious and lovely. The property has beautiful views of vineyards, and the tiny town in the gorgeous Douro Valley that it’s located in, Provesende, is charming. We hope to return, because Casa do Santo is an ABSOLUTE GEM!!!"

"Everything was wonderful ! Love the amount of pools and jacuzzi they have on first and second floor. The view from the room was amazing ! Few things need to be mentioned for all travelers : #1. They don’t have a bus or taxi service so if you need a ride need to call taxi ! #2. Mondays restaurant is closed so you only able to have sandwich ( nothing too fancy) and you can get drinks at bar ( huge plus). #3. If you reserve a room you get access to the spa , however , they charge 5 euros for hair cover to get into the water and keep an eye on your towel ; if you don’t bring the spa towel you will get charged for 30 euros at check out!! Someone stole mine so I didn’t know there’s a charge , therefore , just fyi . Finally, you can get breakfast in bed delivered ( no extra charge ) . Overall , worth money and worth time spent . 1out 5 I would give 4.5 star because few things mentioned. "

"The staff at this property were outstanding. It was raining when we were there, but in good weather, the outside patios would have been lovely. It's a bit of a walk into town, but we were a group of four seniors and we managed fine. We took a cab back up to the property. After a long day of travelling, we loved the quietness that this property provided."

Every member of the staff is exceptional in their professionalism. I cannot say enough good things about Cherry Sculptures Hotel, and I highly recommend a stay to anyone that may be in the Covilhã area."
