"The staff is so very nice. Apparently they never got information on the booking from Expedia, but accomodated us at their expense in the last available room for one night, then moved us to the room type we had requested the remaining dates. Their breakfasts are so good. The hot tub and heated pool are cleaned throughout the day. They welcome families with children. This is a family run establishment we stayed two years prior. Whenever we are in Mindo, it is our place of choice. You do need to have Google Translate or a bit of spanish to communicate."

"I enjoyed a two night stay here after traveling from Quito. We arrived late at night and they were very accommodating. I enjoyed the charm and greenery of this place. Sara was friendly and provided us with a delicious homemade breakfast in outside in their garden. I highly recommend this place. "

"We had a lovely stay at Casa de Vista Alta in Mindo. It's a gorgeous property in a stunning location, high up on a hill, surrounded by a bird-filled cloud forest. The views from the veranda (and balconies) are spectacular. The staff at the Casa were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed hanging out with the Casa's dog, Kyova. We spent one night in a room in the main house and the other night in a cabin. Breakfast was very tasty. We also ate dinner once at the main house -- tasty trout on the spacious veranda. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning."
