Great weekend getaway with fab views!
We loved our weekend stay at this place, overall. The views are breathtaking and make up for a memorable experience. The property, though old and slightly dusty (especially near window panes), was overall good. There were minor details that could have been better taken care of throughout the property but that didn’t bother us much. What I wish I knew was the place doesn’t have AC/cooling/fan. Post noontime and until sunset (which is so beautiful from here) the place gets very warm from the direct sun and it became very hard for us to put our kid to nap in the extremely warm rooms. Would have appreciated a portable fan or cooler. Overall, it’s a beautiful stay and we had a great time.

Awesome view, if you can see through the filthy windows!
We feel bad to leave a not so good review, BUT these are ALL easily fixable things. It is really a waste to have such a beautiful place and not show it off properly. My husband and I are not fussy people. We do not mind an older home as it has personality, as long as it is clean. We absolutely loved the hot tub, but the plexiglass that goes around the hot tub was absolutely filthy! It looked like it had not been cleaned in a while with bird droppings running down the side, webs and just plain dirty. Why??? THAT is the main selling point of the home - the amazing view! Then the windows in the house looking out onto the ocean were all filthy as well. The real shocker that we discovered after a few days was pulling out a couple of kitchen drawers to find rodent poop and active traps in the drawers! WTH! We understand that rodents can be a problem, but having poop in a kitchen drawer and traps not removed before guests arrive? The other thing was that the two couches in the livingroom were extremely broken down and need to be replaced. Again, these are such simple inexpensive fixes that would greatly improve the experience for your guests. My husband and I would come back to stay if these things were addressed. Other than that, we really loved the view, hot tub, privacy, etc. Just please give that place a thorough cleaning and for goodness sakes, clean the windows to show off that view! Did not have communication with the manager, but had to complete that line.

Great view—nice place
Nice spacious house perched on a cliff affording a beautiful view. The furnishings are basic, nothing fancy, but it’s comfortable and affordable. We all slept well in the beds and cooked every meal in the kitchen. It would have been nice to have a few more food storage options for leftovers, but it worked out just fine. There was an electrical issue when we checked in that affected the Wi-Fi, but Vacasa responded immediately and the issue was resolved. Wi-Fi worked great for the duration of our visit after that. This is a great place for a family to spend quality time at the ocean without breaking the bank. The view is fantastic.

The view was magnificent but house needed some updating badly. Main downstairs bath particularly. Living room furniture very uncomfortable and all furniture mismatched:old. Main bed downstairs very comfy and loved the hot tub. Beautiful spot with some updates could be magnificent!

Quaint Family Getaway
This place has spectacular views and is walking distance to town. There was enough room for our two families which consisted of four adults and two teenage boys (14 & 17), although there were only 5 dining chairs so we had to improvise. The larger beds, King upstairs and queen downstairs, were comfortable, however the other two beds (double downstairs and twin upstairs) were uncomfortable and could stand to be replaced. I wish I’d known there was no washer/dryer or dishwasher, although I realized afterward they weren’t listed as an amenity. We also brought our own BBQ. You really can’t beat the location of this place though! We all enjoyed our time here!

Never again
Nice view but that is the only positive thing I can say. The property is not just dated but downright shabby and poorly supplied….no dishwasher, no BBQ, “fireplace” (silly little gas stove) that we found impossible to operate. We would never stay there again.

Excellent Location
This was a beautiful property and worked perfect for our family. The house was clean and comfortable and the hot tub, with a view, was amazing. The only down side is no BBQ or access to a washer and dryer, but we knew that when we booked. The beds were comfortable and they offered plenty of blankets and pillows to get cozy. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Excellent property, a little dated but comfortable. Deck overlooking ocean and great wave viewing.
Great stay. Looking forward to booking again. Would recommend a mattress cover for master bedroom suite... older mattress has stains that are unattractive even though clean sheets. Spa was awesome and great for viewing stars. House a bit dated and should really consider replacing some of the light switches as they could short easily. Proximity to ocean hard to beat. We came to the area to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, to relax and to hear the waves pounding on shore... this property exceeded the desire. We were able to cook and enjoy our stay without needing anything else. We did being our own small BBQ... there did not appear to be one at property? Overall a great stay. Didn't want to leave. Would be willing to help with repairs if we could stay more often? Scott

I loved staying here, and…
It’s a perfectly good house perched above the ocean in a beautiful spot. It’s got a hot tub outside and plenty comfy inside. I could leave the review with that because that’s the most important part of my stay there. I will add though that the acrylic panels that protect the hot tub from the wind are so aged they make seeing through them difficult. Think of wearing extremely dirty glasses, especially when the sun is it just the wrong angle. I found myself thinking for this amount of money per night they should be replacing these pieces of plastic so I can see the beautiful view I came to stare at. So that’s a note for you owners to consider replacing those. On a different note the lovely giant tree in the front yard is horribly overgrown with an ancient ivy plant that is threatening to kill it. You can see the tree is already dying and is ridiculously overweighted with likely a couple thousand pounds of ivy. It was super windy when I was there and I found myself hoping it wouldn’t blow the tree over onto my car. So I feel that the ivy is both a threat to the tree and to who’s ever near it if it ever falls over. That tree trunk is not designed to hold the weight of that ivy. Other than that it was great and I’m really glad I got to stay there. Thanks.

Incredible views from the hot tub
LOVED the location and the views from the hot tub. Could have been cleaner (lots of spider webs by hot tub) and the home really needs some updates. Sadly they only gave us a couple towels to share with the group - when we tried contacting Vacasa - we couldn't get through to a real person. So we dealt with the towel shortage. Overall gorgeous place to stay, but Vacasa needs to step up their management game!

Amazing View and Hot Tub
My family had a wonderful time staying here. The view and sunsets were perfect and being able to enjoy them from the hot tub is hard to beat. I read ahead of time about ants so we made sure to keep all the food in the fridge but found that ants were definitely still coming in and not for the kitchen either. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. We decided not to cook much so we didn't have to deal with dishes but we found great options for dinner right in town.

Beautiful View, Disappointing Cleanliness.
Let me just start with saying that the view is ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING. Looking at the sunset from the hot tub is an amazing experience. House is comfortable and cozy, plenty of blankets for the colder nights, and plenty of breeze for the warmers days when sliding doors are open. Can't emphasize enough how the separate heating in every room is very efficient and convenient. The hot tub takes a while to heat up, so we didn't get to use it at its max temp until the second night, but not a big issue. On the downside, towels weren't enough. Max number of people were 6, and there were only 6 towels. So if each towel is soaked from us hot tubbing, we have no dry ones to use after shower. one of the wires on the fencing on the back deck is damaged, and a small child could easily go through and fall off that deck, we were traveling with 2 small children so this was a big issue for us. Hope this is fixed now. Also, house cleanliness standard is disappointing. Mold on the corners of the bath tub, dust on every window corner (it's clear that those corners haven't been cleaned in a while), and dirt on windowsills. Sent an email to management with photos, hope this issue is fixed now.

Just like when I was a kid... Kinda
I grew up pretty poor, so this place had a special feeling for me. I think the first thing was the smell, just like grandma's house. You know, wall treatments for the 70s, linoleum, and furniture that's almost too old to use, but no it's fine. The kitchen was a hodgepodge of odd mismatched utensils that just wouldn't come clean and cabinets that had been worn by lots of hands and lots of years. A few didn't quite close right, or took a little wiggle. I love a kitchen with a little character! There's tinfoil lining the burners just like grandma use to do. When we used the burners, the left over bits burned off in that familiar smoky burn that makes you wonder if the smoke alarms were going to go off. No worries though, grandma never remembered to replace the batteries, so I'm guessing we werent going to hear that awful screech here either. The windows were super dirty when we arrived, but it wasn't a problem. The host thought of everything, including a conveniently placed hose outside that we used to clean the windows. What a view!! I am going to suggest a nozzle of some kind though. While the Ole finger-in-the-end-of-the-hose technique made me feel like a kid, a nozzle would have made the job easier. The railing cables on the porch (the best part of the house) had come loose in a few places, but it wasn't a big deal. The deck isn't that high, and the thick brush below the deck made for a pretty soft landing after falling through the broken cables. I'm not sure if the host let the grow like that intentionally, but if they did... Nice touch! The bedroom choices made me feel like Goldy Locks and the three bears. The upstairs room was too musty and the "love sack" conjured up visions of bed bugs and fleas (just like sleeping on the floor and Grandma's, but I wasn't ready for that trip back to my childhood.) The second room had a tiny bed and broken blinds like my bedroom in high school. It made me remember long nights with my feet hanging off the end of the bed and the street light glaring in through the broken blind hitting me in the face all night. We opted for the third room. It had a ocean view (after a quick hose down) and a good sized bed. I doubt everyone else will love the dank musty charm quite as much as I did, but I'll be honest... The view is EVERYTHING! If you're one of those bougie types that likes the smell of scented oil diffusers over wall paper glue, the stay is still worth it for the back deck, hotub, and peaceful feeling here.

A really good property to get away and relax .
The house was quite suitable for a much needed get away. The issues that somewhat degraded the experience were the needed minor repairs of deck , window screens, and the bad ant infestation we experienced. The beds are comfortable, the living room and views are really enjoyable. We had a very pleasant stay but the small needs repairs and broken window blind just are sad. The house deserves a better attention.
