"Initially we thought the photographs showed the property in a better light than upon inspection. However this feeling wore off during our stay. The heated pool was great, although the manual cover was a bit of a pain to pull over each night. Didn’t use the hot tub or the sauna, more than happy to lay outside in the sunshine with occasional dips into the pool. However, some of the sun beds need replacing, the webbing has stretched to the extent that your back is resting on the metal support bars...

Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. "We were an extended family- from late seventies tk babies and all in between. The villa/casa rural was absolutely amazing. The views of the surroundings and Frigiliana town are incredible. Emilia made sure we had arrived safely, touched base to let us know there was a town festival whilst there - so to show our reservation to be let through and for recommendation on which acts and actvities to participate in. "We are a family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 4 years old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It is spacious and very clean. Although rustic this house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent and welcome on hot evenings. The pool and the surrounding area are fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular and well worth the short journey up the hill. We had no problems at all and would love to return here...

"Lovely Villa. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as lots of stairs as on two levels. Some aspects very dated and in need of some general maintenance but did not stop our enjoyment. Take your mosquito repellent and buy some citronella candles as we got bit many times whilst sitting out under the covered seating area. This is to be expected as the villa is right up in the hills surrounded by trees. Our biggest issue was the fact we were unable to get a taxi into Frigliana or Nerja. Each...
