"Cindy was awaiting our arrival and warmly greeted us. Walked us through and ensured we understood how to work the cooktop. The location is perfect, a well equipped grocery store is a 2 minute walk down the road for provisions. The grounds are well kept and the location is in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and furniture was just perfect. I enjoyed the hammock on the porch to chill and go through my emails and enjoy a beer. "The superb view and stunning sunsets, the large grounds, the privacy and the clean, virtually private pool are all worth 5+ stars. The location, high, away from intense seaside heat and congestion, but convenient (within 3.5 km) to all necessities is excellent. Also, it is not much more than an hour or so drive to any point on either Basse-Terre or Grand-Terre. Birders will love the property. Several endemics and specialties routinely visit either daily or in the course of a week. Bannanaquits...
