Bärghäsli in the BEO as a base in the winter sports area

The cozy 2-room holiday apartment "Bärghäsli" (mountain bunny) is located in the center of the idyllic mountain village of Gsteigwiler (645 m above sea level), at the foot of the Schynige Platte, between Interlaken and Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland. Two parking spaces and a small garden with seating area, which invites you to relax and enjoy, are also available. The bus stop can be reached in a few steps, which is nice if you arrive without a car or if you want to leave your car behind.

Various towns such as Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Wengen, Beatenberg etc. can be reached quickly in the immediate vicinity. There are beautiful hiking trails, leisure activities such as paragliding, canyoning, helicopter sightseeing flights, golfing, boat trips on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, etc. In winter it is a great area for skiing.

Excellent location and beautiful neighborhood, street almost like Brunngasse, Brienz
The neighborhood, and area is beautiful and safe. The street is almost similar like the Brunngasse, Brienz, street that was voted most beautiful street in Switzerland, but with extras as the spectacular mountain is on the opposite side of the neighborhood that will have clouds that seem like I can almost touch it. I can view part of the Swiss alps peaks there too! As for convience, the bus stop is right in the front of the house, which can take me to all the train stations to go anywhere, ie Interlaken, Grindewald, Lauterbrunnen, etc. There is no AC due to the cool weather but some afternoons do get slightly warm during mid July when we were there but was nice and cool in the evening, nights, and mornings. There are two fans to keep the interior cooler. There is the kitchen with adequate cookware, and a very good coffee selection and maker. I did not see a microwave, and I did not see one at my other Switzerland stay either. I am not sure if microwaves are not the norm in Switzerland or not, or regulated? So we used the oven. The place was extremely clean, and even has a washer and dryer to wash clothes for the multi dirty clothes after multiday activities in Switzerland. The owner communicated alot and seems to really want us to be as happy as possible. I would definitely stay here again when i visite Switzerland again!

Simply marvelous
We took our first trip to Switzerland and opened the door to a beautiful apartment and stayed all week, 10 steps to the bus station, comfortable furniture, able to cook a few meals for ourselves, so perfect!
