"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in dem „großen Tiny House“. Man fühlt sich sofort wie daheim 😊 Alles ist liebevoll, individuell gestaltet, durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, zusätzlich gibt es noch Extras wie ein Trampolin und eine eigene Bergbahn (bei der sogar die Durchsagen und Türöffnung noch funktionieren). Auf der Veranda und dem Garten ist man wunderbar ungestört mit Weitblick ins schöne Umland - herrlich zum Grillen oder den Sonnenuntergang...

"The house is very well equiped and has very kind and helpful owners. Great location near Swarzwald (north) for hikes. Cities like Baden-baden and Strasbourg are nearby (30 minutes. For the warm days there is a nice lake for swimming (Grauelsbaum) at 5 minutes drive."

"Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

"la casa es mas bonita en persona wue en la foto. Eramos un grupo de 9 y todas las camas eran comodisimas. Hemos estado muy comodos. Teniamos productos de la zona para defustar de regalo, un detalle muy bonito. Las habitaciones y zonas comunes muy espaciosas. Todos super limpio. La dueñs de la casa muy agradable. "A wonderful accommodation in a quiet, picturesque village within driving distance to many points of interest in the Black Forest. The accommodation itself is very well equipped and spacious for a large group. Nothing beats waking up to birdsong and postcard views every morning. My only gripe would be that most instructions in the property are written solely in German. Translated versions for overseas visitors would help greatly. Other then that, perfect."

"A simple accommodation facility 13-15 min walk from the center and train station of Strasbourg. Cleaning maybe once every few days. The room has a stove, fridge, dishes, kettle, tea and instant coffee. The rooms are rather tired. Sometimes it can be noisy as the rooms are not soundproofed."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We enjoy the location even though it’s a few mins out of the center. We can either walk a few mins to take the train into the center or Uber it.
