Our Yosemite Hideaway is a delightful retreat! The combination of scenic views, comfortable accommodations, and convenient access to both outdoor activities and historical landmarks make it an appealing destination for a variety of travelers. The proximity to Pine Mountain Lake and its amenities, along with the short distance to Yosemite National Park, adds to the allure of our Hideaway. The well-appointed living spaces, including the spacious living room and kid-friendly loft, offer a welcoming environment for guests to relax and enjoy their stay. And with Groveland's historic charm and nearby attractions, there's no shortage of things to see and do in the area. It sounds like a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure awaits you at our lovely chalet!
Our Yosemite Hideaway is located in the private gated community of Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland California offers accommodations for 8 people. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen & dining area located on the main floor with 2 bedrooms, with queen beds and a full bathroom with double sinks. The Upstairs boasts a large bedroom (1 queen & 2 twin beds), on-suite bathroom and a spacious kid-friendly loft equipped with a TV, DVD player & movies, just ideal for board games, and puzzles. Free WiFi included.
Enjoy the expansive views of the Sierra Nevada mountain landscape off the large deck along with a view of Pine Mountain Lake in the distance. Take a short walk for a dip in the pool, dine at The Grill or play a round of golf - all just short walk from our front door. Our Hideaway is a 3 minute drive to Dunn Court Beach - just one of three beaches on the lake. Yosemite National Park is a quick 26 miles to the entrance and another scenic 23 miles to Yosemite Valley.
Groveland is a historic mining town, and also home to a great downtown that includes a park, library, museum, shops, restaurants and the Iron Door Saloon. Which is said to be California's oldest continuously operating saloon. Nearby attractions include Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Hetch Hetchy, Mariposa Grove, Lake Don Pedro, Mercer Caverns, Columbia State Park and the historic areas of Sonora & Jamestown. You can reach many of the historical landmarks within 45 to 90 minutes.

Great Place
The cabin was well furnished, appointed and comfortable. The most spectacular part of the cabin was the covered deck off the front, what a wonderful place to gather for morning coffee and meals throughout the day

Enjoyed our stay!
We stayed here while visiting Yosemite and really enjoyed the house and the area. We did not explore the lake or any of the other amenities in the neighborhood but the area is very nice. It was nice to have items sich as ice chest, beach towels, etc. to ise ruring our stay. The beds are firm but we all slept like babies. We all agreed that we would definitely stay there again.

Another amazing stay at the Hideaway and we will go back. Everything you need from appliances, to movies for your kids is available for use. I love running around the neighborhood and visiting local hiking spots. I would highly recommend this VRBO to family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, well-appointed home. Everything was spotless, and kitchen was exceptionally organized, with everything anyone could need. Coffee options were great; both capsule and loose coffee were provided. The outdoor area is vast with a nice view.

The home was very well set up with almost anything needed. The front covered deck was spacious and a great place to hang out. Yosemite is an easy drive away (although Highway 120 was closed due to weather-related maintence) . The nearby golf course was very nice.

Pine Mountain 4th of July Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Debi and Vineet’s Pine Mountain Lake home! The home was in a quiet mountain area with a view of the lake from a spectacular deck. The house was in excellent condition and stocked with so much of what we needed: beach towels, beach chairs, large gas grill, and even assorted condiments. We highly recommend this home and hope to return each year.

Great Pine lake retreat!
We were very happy here with the beautiful surroundings and proximity to the lake and other fun outings like a trip to Columbia or some time in Groveland. The place is very welcoming with a generously well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable furniture, beach towels and chairs. The owner have clearly put a lot of though into all of this. They were also quick to communicate in answer to any questions and kindly gave us some flexibility on check in and check out times. Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway!
Nice, clean, comfortable place. We loved our stay. It had everything we needed. Perfect place to come back to after a long day in Yosemite. I loved having coffee and hanging out on the extra large balcony! My son loved having his own loft area upstairs. His own "little hideaway." Just a mile down to the beach. Fun watching the deer at night on the golf course! Quiet and beautiful location. Very peaceful.

This home is well equipped with everything. It's meticulously organized for ease of use. We enjoyed family dinners and morning coffee on the spacious. The lake nearby was a great place to cool off and paddleboard. We spent one day hiking in Yosemite and the last evening at the Iron Door Saloon listening to live music and enjoying the food. This home is in a great location. We will definitely be back!

Great friend getaway option!
4 adults with 4 kids (4/6 yrs old) had a great time staying in Pine Mountain Lake at this home. The deck is HUGE and mostly shaded, the large table fit all 8 of us for all our meals. The separation of upstairs/downstairs was perfect for two families. The hosts provided tons of kitchen equipment, beach toys/chairs/towels and overall the house was just what we needed. There is some wear in the kitchen, but that was no trouble for the price and the season of life we're in with kiddos. I highly recommend this home.

Thanksgiving family vacation
My family has stayed at many properties and locations. This particular home was the best stocked in all of our experiences. The outdoor decks bring the inside out and easily doubles the useable living area. We had 5 children under the age of 6 including 2 infants. The deck provided a secure and open area for them to safely play outside. Through no fault of the owners the area does not provide for recycling. If you are concerned about recycling come prepared to separate and take you recyclables home with you. Wonderful wildlife and views. Thank you to our hosts.

Nice house, nice neighborhood, but not treated as though we fully belonged in the neighborhood.
Nice house: The house was very well furnished, with nice furniture, a very nice view of the mountains from the front deck, nicely-appointed kitchen, very nice washer and dryer set, and overall very comfortable and clean. The front deck had an incredible view of the mountains, only partially obstructed by power lines across the street, and the deck had a lot of loose screws and popped up boards, and needed some basic TLC. There was a single central AC/heat system in the house which worked fine at night and on cooler days, but on hot sunny days it became quite hot upstairs due to radiant heating from the roof--we chose to open the upstairs windows and door and blow cooler air into the house using a fan vs. running the window-banger AC. An attic fan to pull cooler air up from downstairs might make more sense. Good location: The property was convenient to grocery, pool, and lake, and about 1.25hrs drive from Yosemite valley. Nice neighborhood: The neighborhood pool and lakefront were very festive on hot afternoons, and the neighbors that we talked to at the pool and lakefront were nice. Unpublished neighborhood rules: We booked this property roughly 9 months prior to travel, and were told 1 week before that it is in a gated community with a $31 weekly guest fee, entrance through only the main gate, and preference for neighborhood amenities (pool and lakefront) given to residents. Unfortunately we were told upon entry that (1) we would be asked to leave the pool in lieu of owners if the pool reached capacity and (2) that we had to park on the street at the lakefront because the parking lot was reserved for owners. They still liked our money at the lakefront concession. Overall it wasn't a big deal, but would have been nice to know these "rules" at time of booking. Limited wifi: We were also told a week before arrival that the wi-fi is not unlimited and that we would be charged $10/GB for every day which we use more than 4GB. Telling our teen and tween that they couldn't stream any shows or movies for a full week was painful. The selection of DVDs was extensive but targeted to younger children. Four mod's would make this perfect IMHO (1) disclosing the neighborhood issues up front, (2) some TLC on the front deck (3) a better wifi data policy or service and (4) a better solution for the temp difference between up and downstairs. Not to dwell on the negative, we did really enjoy our time at this house, and would definitely come back!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway
This was a great house for our family of five. We had a great time hiking in Yosemite and then coming back to sit by the fire at night, playing card game, and watching movies was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. Everything was clean, comfortable beds, and a beautiful view from the front deck. This home could easily fit two families with all the kids on the upper level and adults downstairs.

Beautiful front deck
House was clean and roomy. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with deer wandering through the yard. The front deck was so nice after a long day of hiking. You have to pay for a pass for your vehicle that covers the length of your stay in this gated community.

Perfect stay
This is our second stay in Debi and Vineet's properties. And for the second time we are giving them A+. The property well maintained and equipped with everything you need. Check-in and check-out are straightforward. All instructions and driving directions were clear and provided in advance. The location is great: ~2 min. drive to the beach, ~5 min. drive to the local store, 30-35 min. to Yosemite National Park. The communication with hosts was easy and pleasant. We had really enjoyable 5-night stay. We will definitely rent from Debi and Vineet again and recommend this property to our friends.

Great place to relax between hikes and rest up. We appreciated the everyday items available like laundry soap and a kitchen well stocked with the basics, lots of spices and more.
