Nice overall. 3 bedroom and has all amenities. Was here long term for 2 months. Had a very pleasant stay. Would of liked a little more comfortable mattress for long term stay. Perfect for a vacation rental. Area is very nice and not to far from town. Would stay there again if i came back. Lots of owls in the evenings which was very cool. Every day they show up, so it was neat yo see.

Lovely location great for families
Overall good but could be improved. Cobwebs throughout house. Dryer did not work. Not having any towels provided is unusual and inconvenient for overseas travellers.

Lovely location, responding to a couple of nigglea would have made this a 5star review
Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay.

Prima huisje, praktisch, ruime keuken met goed servies. Lekkere bank. fijne bedden. mooie tuin met fijne tuinstoelen. De badkamer kan een update gebruiken. Douchekop hangt los, en plankjes ook. En qua schoonmaak kon het net iets schoner

Angenehm ruhig. Ein direkter Zugang zum Wasser mit boot ist möglich, dieses sollte in der Objektbeschreibung genauer beschrieben werden.

Verblijf was goed, maar enige echt noodzakelijke verbeteringen als tip aan eigenaar doorgegeven. Nog niet genoemd : spiegelgladde, (natte) vloer in douche ruimte en niet werkende afzuiging in badruimte. Rooster in Weber bbq is te klein en valt van de steunen. Geen deurbel aanwezig.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Schönes Objekt in der friesischen Wasserlandschaft, gut geeignet für Familienurlaub. Angenehme Atmosphäre mit windgeschütztem Garten und 90 Schritten zum nutzbaren Bootsanlieger, wo wir eine gemietete Jolle gut festmachen konnten.Schön ruhige Lage, erholsam.

Lovely property.
Lovely property however lacked a few convinces. No teaspoons and no toaster, the fan in the bathroom doesnt work and the lightbulb was out. We fixed the light bulb. Host was very accommodating with towels as we all were traveling from overseas. I would for sure rent this property again.

Fab stay in Grou
We had an amazing two weeks in Grou. The town itself is beautiful. We loved getting the ferry over into the town for drinks or an ice cream. The house was a good base and had most things we needed. As others have said, there are no towels (bath and tea) provided and some essentials lacking (e.g. only a couple of teaspoons). The upstairs bedrooms got very warm due to the amazing weather we had so fans were needed. The garden was lovely to enjoy in the evening and our children enjoyed the pool at the campsite over the road (the pool is only 70cm deep so is more of a paddling pool for the children). Overall, we had a great stay and look forward to staying again.

Sehr schön!
Haus, Terasse, Garten, Lage, Umgebung und zum Haus gehöriger Bootssteg mit Badestelle haben uns sehr gut gefallen! Vor allem die Nähe zum Wasser und die schnelle Verbindung zum Ort mit der kleinen Fähre.

Goeie week gehad! De inventarislijst klopte alleen niet helemaal met wat er aanwezig was. Theelepels hebben we van onze boot gehaald. Verder zit de wc bril los. En wel goed om van tevoren te weten dat er elke ochtend automatisch grasgemaaid wordt, zodat je weet dat er niks op het gras moet blijven liggen. Maar verder echt prima voor een weekje Friesland!

Es war alles ordentlich. Die Zimmer hatten eine schöne Größe (bis aus das Kinderzimmer"). Die Lage ist super man kommt schnell in die nächste Stadt/Sehenswürdigkeiten für Unternehmungen. Die Ausstattung der Küche hatte alles was man braucht. Geschirr war bis auf die Messer sehr reichlich. Leider gab es keine Informationen auf deutsch oder englisch. Mit dem entsorgen des Müll war es nicht direkt ersichtlich, auch der Pool war nicht wie vermutet am Haus sondern gehört mit zum Campingplatz ca. 100 Meter entfernt.

Tolle Unterkunft in schöner Umgebung
Wir sind als 4 Freunde angereist und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Wunderschöner Garten mit großer Terrasse, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Spülmaschine. Die Umgebung ist super, um sich ein Boot zu mieten und durch die Kanäle zu schippern. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden.

Lovely setting in Grou
We were visiting from America and found this place online. It fir our needs perfectly. Lovely place, beautiful setting, near restaurants and many things to site-see. The only draw back was not having towels. Thankfully, we were able to get some from family. The kitchen is well equipped and being able to use the washer and dryer was nice since we packed light and had a couple more weeks in Europe. The owners were very easy to communicate with. I recommend this stay if you are able to bring along towels with you

Lovely
Property is very handy for exploring the northern part of Holland (Friesland) with the town of Grou just a short ride on a bicycle or ferry. Compact and ideal for a short family break. Only thing missing was a barbecue so we could take advantage of the excellent weather we had and maybe the cleaners could look up and dust away some of the cobwebs in the ceiling!

Urlaub mit Freunden
Wir waren zu 6 für ein verlängertes Wochenende da. Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ist sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Mit einer kleinen Personenfähre gelangt man schnell nach Grou. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen!

Mooie plek & mooie uitvalsbasis
Dit huisje op Yn'e Lijte is ons zéér goed bevallen. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft drie goede slaapkamers, met in totaal zes bedden. De nabije steiger is een perfecte plek om vanaf te springen & duiken én is natuurlijk uitermate geschikt om een sloepje (vlakbij te huur) aan te leggen. Grou zelf is een leuk plaatsje en op korte afstand is er veel te doen, zowel met de boot, per fiets en per auto. Communicatie met de eigenaar ging goed & soepel. Attente & getimede berichten vooraf en vragen tussendoor werden ook snel & goed beantwoord.
