Our party of 8 needed a place to stay for graduation ceremonies at JMU. We now wish we'd come just to enjoy the animals, river, and fire pit. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts...I hope we can make it back!
We were in town for a wedding and needed a comfortable clean place to sleep , Lisa provided this and more. It was a fun adventure thanks for sharing your love of animals and your space at the farm
The house was lovely and very comfortable for the night. The better part is being able to watch and say hi to the beautiful horses (and goats) on the property. Our kids loved watching the animals and running around the yard. Great place that was convenient for heading into Shenandoah.
We stayed for here after Snow Tubing at Massanutten. It was amazing! Wish we had more time to enjoy the property and horses. Would absolutely book location again. Cleanliness was on point!!
This is an excellent property with much to see from landscapes to animals. The home is well equipped and clean. The amenities are plentiful. We cannot wait to return. This could be an annual destination.
Lisa was very responsive to questions and accommodating to several itinerary changes.
We had a terrific visit at the horse farm. Had more than enough room for everyone. Hostess was great and friendly. We enjoyed horse rides and just being out in the country. We highly recommend this property if you want to disconnect from daily hassles for a few days.
This was one of the best places we have stayed. It was very clean and property was beautiful and peaceful. I am hoping to revisit when we are in the area. I would highly recommend!
Everything was as advertised. Beautiful property with horses and river access. We had a great time. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy country living.
We had a short overnight at Lisa's ranch visiting with our daughter. This house is clean and comfortable and relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer but highly recommend for a peaceful place to stay on your Shenadoah journey

We stayed one night while in town for a family reunion. Set up was perfect for older couple with 3 young adults. Loved our greeting from friendly retrievers!!
The house was very clean and is newly renovated. Kitchen is well equipped for all guests needs. Easy access to Shenandoah Park, Grottoes Caverns, and I-81. The owner responded very quickly to all our needs. Thanks, Lisa!
We will definitely be back. House was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We loved the setting on the horse farm. Took a walk down to the river. Visited the horses and dogs. Loved the fire-pit area. It was so secluded and peaceful. Thank you to Lisa!
Loved staying here. Fed the horses some carrots, gave the horses and doggos some love. Nice and quiet area. Skipped rocks on the river. Close to skyline drive which is awesome to check out. I’d definitely stay there again and recommend. Owner was a nice wholesome person.
We loved the quiet peaceful atmosphere. Our grandchildren loved the animals. Very clean and spacious area for family visits. Handrails in the tub area would be helpful for older guests. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to enjoy an atmosphrere of peace and tranquility.

I went on December 30 with my friend and our kids and we enjoyed all about it. It is very clean and organized. The property owner is very friendly and responsive. The farm is charming and the horses are amazing. I recommend this cabin for anyone who would to relax and enjoy the nature and the sound of nature.
My friends and I used the house as a jumping-off point for fishing some trout streams in the area, especially Mossy Creek. The property was quiet and peaceful. The house was immaculately clean, and the air conditioning kept us cool during a brutal heat wave that had scorched the area.

Absolutely fantastic!! Relaxing, clean, comfortable, amazing views, friendly animals, awesome fire pit, wish we could have stayed for a few days. One was just a tease. Lots to do!! Crystal clear River that runs along the property, easy access to it. Perfect day of the last day of our vacation!!
Booked at spare of the moment and did not disappoint!!!
Very nice relaxing property with beautiful horses.
Could not heat up the grill well (something was wrong with It) and not enough hot water (could use a bigger water heater) would be the only two things that we were able to survive withouts, oh plus a coffee machine.
All things considered we had a great time at the property.
The rental was absolutly perfect!
Great place to stay with little kiddoes ylwho need to get engery out lots of space to run!
Our first moring we woke up and walked to see the horses having the best experience visiting and petting them. Kids enjoyed goats that wondered atound area. House was clean and well equipped. Will definitely look for this rental for our next stay.
This house is located within easy drves for SNP, Civil War sites, and outlying cities for shopping. Friendly owners with easy check in. Grankids fed the horses and waded in the river that runs through the property. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return. Thanks Lisa.
