"We loved our time here. The house itself is wonderful and has many thoughtful touches, like throw blankets just where you would want them, charging cables, and toiletries. Fort Parker is a really nice State Park. Kayaked down the Navasota. Old Ft. Parker is very interesting

Only a very few restaurants and not one served decaf coffee. Had to go to Buffalo to get a cup of decaf coffee. We won’t stay in Groesbeck again.

When I first booked my room Amanda called to notify me I had booked a smoking room and asked if I intended to do that. I felt she went above and beyond to confirm what I needed which was indeed a non-smoking room. She also kept breakfast late for us.
