"Great outdoor pool (should be open until 10pm) and spa area. (indoor pool, hot-tub, different saunas, steam rooms etc.) Property needs some renovations for the rooms (very outdated and worn out) AND an Air Conditioner! "The staff was friendly and courteous, it was conveniently located for seeing the Luther related sites in Wittenberg, and breakfast was quite good. But, the hotel/room decor is quite tired and needs updating in almost all areas. The towels were worn and frayed as was the carpeting on the stairs. The shower/tub is quite high and a bit of a challenge for older travelers. In our opinion, not deserving of the 8.7 Expedia rating. "

Best Western soibelmanns Lutherstadt Wittenberg

"Loved the hotel ! We visited primarily to visit Martin Luther sites…though we also fell on love with town of Wittenberg, such a cool town…we ate a n Italian restaurant (close to church on other side of tow -which was walkable)…that was excellent "

"Everything was fantastic! Large rooms with lots of space, huge bathroom with a tub, extremely comfortable bed, and free drinks! I only have 2 minor complaints. First is that housekeeping should NOT be trying to get in my room at 8am, that’s way too early considering that checkout is at 12 noon. Second is that there’s nobody at the reception desk until 1pm, I wanted to ask about staying another night but nobody was there. Overall, it was a really nice place in a great location. "
