"We had a great stay however the bath was very slow to drain and was very slippery when showering. We put the mat in and kept on it to avoid slipping."

"We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the welcome on reception when booking in right through to checking out in the morning every member of staff who we interacted with was friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had a delicious 2 course meal in the evening and one of the best breakfasts we have had. The buffet breakfast was top rate with amazing sausages and bacon. Plenty alof variety available to choose from with the addition of a moce continental with cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, toast, preserves and pastries. We were made to feel welcome and valued at all times and enjoyed the personal treatment without it being over the top. All in all a great find, and coupled with the unexpected fine weather , it made for an unforgettable experience. Thanks to everyone It was clearly evident that every member of staff took a great deal of pride in their job and they are all a credit to the establishment."

"Stayed one night. Lots of building work going on but not an issue. Staff food and room very good. Tried the container golf which was good fun. Only slight negative garden area looking a bit tired. Probably this would be given a freshen up before season starts. Overall definitely worth a visit / stay and would recommend. Would definitely go back as an ideal base if visiting north and west Norfolk."

"Check in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The apartment we were allocated was spotless and comfortable. Despite being above the bar area it was very quiet so we had a great sleep. The property is right next to the Minster with the town centre right on the doorstep with most places of interest within walking distance. Things to note: the property is not suitable for those with mobility issues as there are a number of stairs and no lift - it’s an old building. Parking out the front is short stay and quite expensive - the parking attendants are very keen so don’t risk getting a ticket. There is a long stay car park just a short walk away with better rates. Those staying for a few days might want to consider a 7 day Rover ticket - available online - which costs less than £30 - better value and less hassle than having to go to the parking meter to top up your ticket on a daily basis. "
