"We have stayed at a few different rentals on Lake Catherine, but this one has the best view of the lake! When you walk in, it's the first thing you notice. The lake is so close, you see the lovely deck and then the lake. No obstructions. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The furniture is different from the picture, however. There's now an L-shaped couch and large chair with ottoman. The kitchen had everything you need, so no need to bring a bunch of stuff. We cooked every night we...

At first we were alarmed that a gas station was right across the street, but soon we liked the convenience of getting a USA Today in the morning, snacks in the evening, and cheap gas ($2.98). We also like the first floor walkout for walking the dogs along the lake. Everything worked, and the neighbors were friendly."
