"Fabulous accommodation for all the family of 9 adults and 9 children. Swimming pool outstanding. Bicycles, tennis, boules, table tennis, archery and with excellent equipment. The library alone could have been a full week's entertainment. Great kitchen and comfortable lounge. Private, spacious grounds. Situated perfectly for wine exploration."

We enjoyed the local village with food truck nights, bakery, mountain biking and walking at our doorstep and river swimming not far away. Great privacy at the chateau with stunning views. "the front desk closes at 7pm and they charge you 25 euro to call them if it's a non-emergency. we didn't have any sheets on one of the beds so there was nothing we could do. rooms are very basic and dated"

"Excellent hotel with friendly welcome and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious airy room. Well located in old part of the city with a short walk to the main sights and restaurants. "
