The Yambil is in a very good position in town that is close to most things and it has parking. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The bed is comfortable. Wi-Fi works well. The only issues are the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours especially if you have a room above you and this can be quite loud. The shower had low pressure and the water temperature switched regularly from scalding hot to cool

The staff are so warm and welcoming on srrival and during the day if you saw them. The only issue we had was the shower head was lose but easy enough to tighten by ourselves. Would glady stay again as couldn't fault the property or staff on anything major. Thankyou for your hospitality

Although place appeared older everything was in good working order. Clean room and facilities, comfy bed and nice pool on a quiet street Shops within walking distance, only a few minutes away.

Absolutely recommend!
Central location and one street back from the busy main drag. Allocated parking. The room was absolutely massive (about twice the size of my normal motel rooms). I couldnt believe how totally spotless the kitchenette and bathroom were. Small fresh milks on arrival. Its almost retro (I havent seen a clock radio in so long) but in almost brand new condition as its all so well maintained. Well done - my stay was fantastic and I totally recommend this motel!!

I was on the ground floor, big room 2 queen beds, old but clean serviceable bathroom, I could hear every step from the people above , the carpet needs an acoustic underlay to prevent this , plus I heard every noise outside, I am a light sleeper and should have asked for an upstairs room, but overall it’s a lower priced motel and I got what I paid for

Room was a great size and very clean. Close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Pool was fantastic! Dvds to watch if you want. It was a bit noisy, with house keeping arriving around 730am to start doing empty rooms. The owners want rooms serviced daily even if you dont, Pool area was nice but needs shade sails or umbrellas , it had nothing. Bbq was filthy!! My bed and pillows too hard but cant be helped. Over all i would stay again, house keepers were very professional and proud of their jobs. Was great to see. Owners were very quiet, seem rude but i dont think so.

I had a group of people show up to my room when I was there one night asking me for a cigarette for money for everything they didn’t leave until I told them I tried to call the manager but no answer I was threatened and robbed by this group of people by time they left ..loved the room I had until that happened .

Put us up stairs with a 78 year old lady with walking stick. Would not change us to ground floor. Had very noisy neighbors with very noisy kids who kept slamming the door and yelling.

The staff called me after hours saying i have guests in my room and thats not allowed. But there is nothing written anywhere that says i cannot have a friend over for a drink or to drop me off food. Then the morning i checked out the staff called me saying my stuff was still in my room which at the time was true as it was 9 50am and check out is at 10am and due to me checking out early i had to run to the bank and deposit my refund to book another hotel. And i was back in my room when the staff called. I have stayed at this property before but this was rude and uncalled for im very unhappy.
