"This property has no atmosphere. The staff, while not unfriendly, certainly don't make you feel welcome. When this was the Montanus Hof Hotel it was several levels above. "This is a wonderful property in a countryside setting with an equally nice restaurant. I had enjoyable stays there before. However, service and reception quality seem to have deteriorated over the years. On our last stay, we were not even able to use the room we had booked: The reception was closed when we arrived within the stated opening hours, I could find no keys, and no phone number could be reached. Aggressive behavior around my later request for a refund. So I will not be back."

We were in room 5 which, if you can I would avoid, because it is located next to the office & every time they came out of the office our door rattled. Which over time is annoying. "Objekt war als Ferienhaus ausgeschrieben. Zuerst war die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sehr nett. Es gab Infos wo der Schlüssel liegt und über die Parkmöglichkeiten. Als wir am Abend ankamen mussten wir feststellen, dass das Ferienhaus eher eine Monteurwohnung ist und die Bilder aus einer längst vergangenen, schöneren Zeit stammen... So weit so gut. Bei Betreten des Badezimmers kam uns ein übler Geruch nach Schimmel entgegen. Es gab Spinnenweben wie normal in Garagen oder Gartenhäusern zu...
