"We stayed in one of Giulio and Marco’s new apartments for a week and had a fantastic time. The amenities, pool, olive groves and sunsets are beautiful. It was easy to get to Pisa and Lucca (20 min) each. Giulio was extremely generous with his time, giving us a detailed tour of the farm and explaining how he is planning to increase biodiversity. Both he and Marco also provided lots of helpful tips on making the most of the area. Definitely recommend!"

"After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

The house is very comfortable with everything you need and the views are stunning. Walk along the path that runs behind the house. "A quiet place on the hillside surrounded by trees, a swimming pool for refreshment. The hosts are helpful. Needs more attention to cleanliness and updating some furniture. Wifi works fine but mobile connection is not working."

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow...
