"Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."

"My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our week stay at this beautiful mountain retreat. The immaculately clean apartment is the bottom floor of a rustic Swiss chalet overlooking the farm and rolling hills. The location is stunning where the only sounds you hear are distant cow bells and sheep. Simon and Beatrice were friendly, kind and supportive from the time we contacted them to when we left. "This hotel is great for anyone looking for a cheap base in the Bern area. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with a kitchen and a hob to prepare food if wanted (there is also an Aldi about 50m away) The beds were relatively comfortable and extra pillows were provided when asked.
