Welcome to Your Mom’s!
This space was created with love and in honor of the two powerhouse women who raised Eric and Joy. The two private bedrooms, Grandma Dottie’s Room and Mamaw Uschie’s Room, are located upstairs in the home where we live. Since we reside on the main floor, you may see us in passing as you come and go.
What’s Included in Your Stay:
🏡 Private Upstairs Space – You’ll have exclusive access to the two bedrooms upstairs, which are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. This bathroom is shared only between these two rooms—not with anyone else in the house.
🛏️ Each Room Features:
A queen-sized bed with 100% cotton sheets and linens
A built-in workspace with power outlets
A dorm-sized refrigerator and microwave
A lamp for task lighting
🚿 Jack and Jill Bathroom:
Curved glass shower door
Pedestal sink
Hair dryer and assorted travel essentials
🌿 Additional Spaces:
Guests also have access to the side porch on the Grayland side of the house for fresh air and relaxation.
Important Notes:
☕ Kitchen Access: Guests do not have access to the main-floor kitchen, except for hot water from the electric kettle and coffee if we’ve already made a pot.

Your Mom’s is located in the Idlewood Neighborhood, within walking distance of Downtown Greensboro and nearby communities, including Fisher Park, Latham Park, College Hill, Lake Daniel, Old Irving Park, and Westerwood.
🚲 Transportation & Trails:
The Greenway Urban Trail is just a short walk away, connecting you to Cone Hospital, Elm Street, Friendly Center, and beyond.
Public transportation is available within a five-minute walk on Hill Street.
A skatepark is nearby, offering another great outdoor option.

We are a local, non-corporate business that supports Guilford County students with learning differences through experiential learning in our local, non-corporate, managed guest homes.
Thank you for being a respectful guest! Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth stay for everyone:
DO NOT FLUSH
Sanitary products
Paper towels
Wipes (baby or "flushable")
Diapers
Q-tips or cotton balls
Only flush natural waste and toilet paper. Flushing other items can cause costly clogs, with a fee of $100 to $500 for repairs, which will be billed to you.
Damages to Linens & Towels
Towels: $20 each
Sheet Sets: $100 per set
Pillow Cases: $25
Quilts/Blankets: $20 to $500 (depending on the item)
Trash & Recycling
Green can: Trash
Brown can: Recycling (no plastic bags, please)
Gray can: Yard waste only
Trash and recycling are picked up on Mondays (except holidays). Please dispose of waste in the designated bins behind the house.
Shared Spaces
Enjoy the fenced backyard and small Weber gas grill. If the gas tank runs out, please let us know so we can replace it.
Our landscaper and pest control service will periodically access the yard and crawlspace. If you notice bugs inside, please clean up food crumbs, spills, and message us to request pest control service inside the home if needed.
Furniture & Decor
Please don’t rearrange furniture or hang or attach anything on the walls.
Quiet Hours
Be mindful of noise levels from 9 PM to 9 AM to respect our neighbors.
Checkout
Set HVAC to 68-72°F
Remove all trash to outdoor bins
Remove all personal items
Do not turn off HVAC
Report any accidental damage
Pet waste must be disposed of in designated outdoor bins.
Excess cleaning fee of $80 per hour for pet waste, fur, or damage to furnishings.
Direct pets to non-grass areas to prevent lawn damage.
The pet fee covers cleaning for one low-shed, small to medium pet. For multiple pets or high-shed pets, please schedule mid-stay cleaning.
Guest & Pet Registration
Please add all guests and pets (with their emails) to your reservation to comply with platform requirements.
