Not much to say, it was a place to sleep. We arrived and it was rainy and the whole cabin smelled very musty and damp. We went out and got an air freshener and a candle to try to help. No microwave, no toaster. It does advertise no TV which we brought one with us and a Wi-Fi hotspot. But we did end up leaving a day early because we just missed some of the comforts of home. And it could use a good cleaning (cobwebs and dusty) and maybe a little fixing up.
The place was great we really enjoyed staying there, no TV and our teenage kids still said they loved it there lol a great way to get away and spend time together as a family!
We loved everything about this unique cabin and enjoyed meeting the owner, Jonathan. The cabin was in a perfect place where our niece's wedding venue was in Limestone and Johnson City where our family was staying. Everything we needed was provided for our stay. We hope to come back and see more of the surrounding cities. Cindy and Bill
This historic cabin has been updated with power and plumbing but retains its charm. It was a heatwave during our stay so no AC was a drag but there are fans that help.
Built in the 1700’s with some modern updates, was the coolest cabin. My favorite part was the huge fireplaces. Johnathon was a great host and very kind! I would recommend this place for everyone!!! I want to go back to see the different seasons! Loved it!

Beautiful historic property. Porch area in the front could of been cleaner. Cobwebs and dirty tables. Very hot in upstairs bedrooms. Really need more fans or a/c. Did not have toaster or microwave. Broiler in oven did not work. Water pressure was poor.
The property was primitive. We had try to heat the house with one fireplace and was very cold in the house. Safety was another big issue. No rails on stairs to the upstairs and no rails on steps on the front porch. The lighting was really bad on the stairs and my dad fell on last couple of steps which had no rails to hold on to. I wouldn’t recommend this one for anyone.
Awesome to get away from the noise and just sit by a fireplace with good friends and family. Cabin was unique and fun in a great location. We will definitely be back!
Fabulous rustic cabin. Definitely was as advertised. Jonathan was there to great us. Quiet scenic area. My only suggestion is to have a larger coffee pot and a few more pots and pans. Other then that a great few days.
We enjoyed our stay at the 1750’s home. It provides a very unique opportunity to experience the past, while being very close to the present. We enjoyed our stay.
This is an authentic experience we really enjoyed. Way back in time but 5 minutes to Starbucks! Having no internet and TV was a surprisingly nice break.
We had great family time. Enjoyed history of cabin built 1757, before we were a country.
Couldn’t have got in easier. A great experience for the grandkids. Felt very safe. Would highly recommend for a get away into the past with a flare of today modern conveniences.
Awesome place to get away from the demands of today’s world of go go go and constant bombardment of
This was a great experience. Did everything online and just showed up and the house was open and ready to move right in and relax. I recommend this to everyone

Perfect little cabin
We stayed at Eden’s Cabin for the second time and it did not disappoint. Perfect for our family. Would be nice if there was a little microwave to warm up my coffee and a few towels so we didn’t need to think about bringing any along but other than that we had everything we needed! Great place to stay in Tusculum!

Lovely Cabin
I grew up in Bristol TN, and often visited my grandparents and aunt and uncle and family in Greeneville. My husband, children and I came back to Greeneville to visit family this past week. We enjoyed the cabin in the woods and listening to the rain on the roof at night. My grandmother lived close to Tusculum University and this is right down the street from where she lived. My husband was especially happy to wake up in a 200 yr old cabin. 😊 we arrived very late at night after a road trip and Jonathan accommodated our access to the home. Our children were very tired and grumpy so it was so nice to have privacy to get settled. The next day they found some civil war relics around in the woods. It was a fun place to stay!
