An incredible setting awaits at this waterfront home on the shores of Whidbey Island, where you'll have gorgeous views looking east across Saratoga Passage to Camano Island and south to Mt Rainier. This is a home where you can spend your days collecting stones on the beach below and watching for eagles, otters, and orcas from the expansive back deck and lawn.
The main living space is on the upper of the two floors, greeting you with a wall of picture windows that frame Puget Sound out back. It is open and full of small seating vignettes allowing you to set up a board game in one corner or watch a movie in another. Connect your phone to the sound system to listen to your tunes. Also on this floor is a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large center island, and a spacious dining area - overlooking views of the bluff and the Saratoga Strait.
After a morning spent on the beach, use the gas grill and the outdoor tables to set up lunch on the back deck. As for the evenings, they're best spent around the convertible pool/Ping-Pong table in the downstairs rec room. Ideal for a couple's getaway or extended family stay, the four bedrooms are all adorned with comfortable bedding. The primary suite has waterfront views.
Just down the road is the charming Greenbank Farm. A historic dairy farm, Greenbank Farm now offers a cozy cafe, wine tasting, and artisan shopping. Behind the barn, stunning views and trails are available to enjoy.
THINGS TO KNOW
There is no washer/dryer.
A tall staircase (100-plus steps) leads down to the beach.
The record player and the woodstove in the primary bedroom are not operational.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Security camera details: There is one camera mounted outside the front door and points at the parking area and the bottom of the driveway
The other camera is mounted on the deck and points at the front yard and the top of the stairway to the beach
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
