Kick back and relax at “Knot Stressed” in total comfort.

This single floor 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath offers all the comforts of a home away from home that will not disappoint. Self check-in, free wi-fi, spacious back yard with BBQ and fire pit (wood provided while it lasts) and picnic table.
Our Community offers golf (for a fee), playground, pickleball (for a fee), and basketball courts, Pro Shop with snack bar (open daily), one indoor and 2 outdoor pools, Tikibar (weekends only), restaurant (opens at 4pm with Happy Hour and specials from 4-6pm) and boat ramp and all are within walking distance or a very short drive. More information is contained in the House Manual.
Pool passes available upon request, are non-refundable, $15/day or $75/week Per Person plus a $50 Community fee, ages 4 and under FREE and must be purchased in advance by Owner. Request passes through your booking.
Please inquire about the boat ramp if you plan to bring a boat, there is a fee. There is room to park your boat on the property.
We are about 13 miles from a store so you may want to shop before you arrive.
Neighboring towns offer sightseeing and activities for all ages and interests.

Great stay!

What a lovely home!
Visiting family for a birthday occasion, “Knot Stressed” suited us perfectly. The house was clean and well-appointed, and Virginia made the check-in and departure process as easy as I’ve ever seen. The community too, was a pleasant surprise with public pools and a nice restaurant option within walking distance. I’d definitely come back.

Immaculate home in a great development, incredible attention to detail.
This home is bright, clean and very inviting. It sits in a wonderful development that includes 3 swimming pools, restaurants, pickle ball and a golf course. The owner has thought of just about everything you could need....including reading glasses and beach towels. Very easy travel to all of the sights in Assateague and Chincoteague and we highly recommend.

Excellent property for family.
This property is immaculate. Extremely quiet neighborhood. The childs playground is across the street, my granddaughter loved it. The people were very friendly. The community restaurants are both very good. Chincoteague Island is a short ride. We found many fun activities. I highly recommend this property and the caretaker.

Just fantastic
Wonderful house, very clean and nicely decorated. WiFi was great, multiple TVs. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Beds we’re comfortable. Communication with Owner was excellent (she even put up a happy birthday banner for my kids)! I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Away from the madding crowd
Such a cute and comfortable place - well appointed and recently renovated. The house has ceiling fans in every room to keep the place cool, and skylights to provide natural light. Unlike staying in a hotel in Chincoteague itself, where the music from neighboring restaurants can go late into the night, this house is blissfully peaceful at night, but only a 20 minute drive to the island for a day at the beach or dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants.

True to Its Pictures & Description!
Loved the home and quiet neighborhood. Pictures accurately reflect the entire home. Owner is very responsive and helpful. While the community is 20-30 mins from Chincoteague, it is nice and well-kept, and it’s also nice to be able to separate from the bustle of the island a bit at the end of the day. The Marina restaurant has great outdoor seating with a nice breeze and we’d recommend the pool behind the mailboxes, as it’s less crowded and has a small slide.

Lovely and comfortable home!
We were in town visiting family for a wedding, and this was the perfect place for us. The home is clearly well cared for and in great condition. We had everything we needed and appreciated the attention to detail. We didn’t have time to take advantage of most community amenities but our kiddo did have fun on the playground. We’d definitely come back if we’re back in the area in the future!

Fun time
The property is in Captains Cove which is a very nice community . The house is close to the marina . Its about a 20 minute ride to Chincoteague and very easy to get there .The house has all the ameniites of home and lets you know that the owner understands your needs .The mattress was very comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay there . Would stay there again .

Cool Option for family
House is brand-spanking new. The location in Captain’s Cove development was what we were hoping: a boon for kids that love swimming in pools. Three nice pools in two nearby locations. They had issues with lifeguards which meant that the nearest pool was closed for most of our time, but they kept the other open. They were uncrowded and pleasant places to while away the days. Hosts have to get passes for you, which is a bit cumbersome but workable, and passes are $10/person per day. Its not that near the town of Chincoteague: more that 20 mins, and 30 to the beach on Assateague. Pleasant drive though, with a couple good restaurants even before you get into Chincoteague.

Beautiful house to get relaxed from daily routine. We had good experience staying in Virginia’s property. We received immediate help from neighbor and owner when we kind of locked out. We loved kitchen, it has all the thing to make home fresh meal. Bedrooms and bathrooms are specious and backyard is awesome for morning tea.

Knot Stressed was a beautiful and clean and comfy house for my family of four. The bathrooms were spacious and the beds were dreamy. The kitchen was fun to cook in and the hostess was so kind.
