I love this property but access to the lake was limited. Yes, you can see the lake from the property but there is no direct access, and you are not directly on the lake.
Overall, the upstairs living space is beautiful, and the outdoor fire pit was perfect. We even had several deer visit us as we were cooking smores and playing bags. It was warm and comfortable. It was probably the most well stocked VRBO we have stayed in. Although, there is a garage under the living space, the rental does NOT include this. The actual location is tuck back in the woods, but neighbors are close.
Fishing: shoreline fishing on Green Lake was disappointing. There are several shoreline fishing locations but due to gross vegetation off the shoreline, fishing was poor. You need a boat for both Green Lake and Little Green Lake for good fishing since almost all the of the shoreline is privately owned. We did rent a boat and had a great day tubing and enjoying the lake.
Shopping: I enjoyed the Saturday Flea Market in Princeton and a few antique shops in Berlin. I did not see many shops in Green Lake. But did enjoy the ice cream at the fishing store.
