"This hotel overlooks Rutland Reservoir and had some amazing views. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had afternoon tea in the Blossoms which was tasty and filling. And the breakfast was amazing, literally everything you could want. The only problem we had was, we booked a "cozy" double, their cheapest room, which was in the eaves and had slanted ceilings and unfortunately the placement of the shower meant neither me (5 foot 10) or my hubby (6 foot 2) could stand up in it."

"Altogether a pleasant experience. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The only critique is that the bathroom did not have enough shelving to put belongings on."
