These two attached properties, one a single storey brick and flint cottage (ref 30346), the other a two storey double fronted property (ref 30021), are both completed to a very good standard. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, with many footpaths and tracks close by, the properties are just over a mile from the beach at Caister-on-Sea and Dairy Farm and Flint cottages are ideally situated to explore the many attractions in the area. Visit nearby Caister Castle Motor Museum, or wildlife enthusiasts are within easy reach of Breydon Water. Hire a day boat or take a river trip from Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads, or enjoy a family day out where the children will love the latest treetop adventure park at BeWILDerwood. Historical Great Yarmouth 2 miles, will also offer family fun as well as Pleasurewood Hills theme park. A visit to Norwich with its castle cathedral, museums, restaurants and fine shopping, is not to be missed. Beach 1½ miles. Shops, pub and restaurants 1½ miles.

Lovely well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. The wi-fi doesn’t work a lot of the time but in fairness this is mentioned in the booking details. Great for animal lovers - we were visited by a friendly dog who wanted to play ball, saw a heron and ducklings and lots of rabbits. Excellent holiday cottage.
Excellent holiday cottage. Immaculately clean - not a speck of dust - and we’ll equipped, as well as in a lovely setting overlooking the Norfolk countryside. Karen was a great host. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious and a welcome arrival present, and we enjoyed watching the horses and playing ball with Missy the Dog when she was around. The cottage is excellently located to explore the coast and Broads as well as Suffolk. The beds upstairs are comfortable but the mattresses are firm - for those that need a soft bed, the double downstairs is softer. Karen provided us with a travel cot and it came with a proper mattress too, unlike so many places where it’s just the terrible board bases. She also popped the stair gate on for us without needing to ask and provided a highchair. It’s ideal for a quiet break away, no disturbance overnight as you’re well away from the main road - great for a family. We will absolutely be returning. It was brilliant.
