"The weekend was a Christmas present for my daughter. The facilities in the Spa and treatments available are great and all the staff were lovely, throughout the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is quite expensive but the food is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it all."

"We booked a sea view room and were upgraded to the suite - lovely room, comfy king size bed and nicely furnished. Spacious and clean with lots of windows overlooking the sea front. Up a couple of flights of stairs which was no problem for us but something to be aware of as there is no lift. Breakfast was included and was possibly the best quality hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time. High quality bacon and sausages And perfectly cooked eggs plus hand cut fresh bread. Superb. Breakfast area was also a restaurant open for lunch & dinner - nicely decorated and clean and fresh. Great decor and vibe although I can’t comment on other food as we only had breakfast here. The guy who served breakfast was really friendly and chatty - also covered the reception. The girl who checked us in the evening before was also friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again"

"Great little cottage perfectly positioned in the village for everything you need......loads of character very clean and toasty warm.Stairs are a bit of a challenge after a few drinks so would recommend younger guest's sleep upstairs or guests that dont drink as much as me lol.We spent Christmas there and when we arrived there was a tree up and decorations which was a lovely surprise Only criticism i have is not with the cottage but the pub it backs onto.....7th time in winterton and the fisherman's prices have gone through the roof....probably because they are the only pub in the village and can charge what they want....which will backfire on them eventually as we only used it twice in 7 days just because of the prices. Didn't stop us having an amazing holiday though in a superb cottage in a fantastic village "
