"This place is adorable, and so close to everything in Bar Harbor! Our plan was to visit Acadia National Park, which we did, but we were so close to the many fabulous restaurants and shopping, that we felt like we wanted to see and experience all that we could, while there. "I absolutely loved the area around the property, we walked everyday we were there for an hour every morning. The room was fine, I’m not a complainer normally but: the place just needed a bit more finishing and better quality household equipment. "We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him."
