The Space:
This cabin is ready for your family, friends or small group getaway! The living room, surrounded by amazing views, opens to the fully stocked kitchen with a large island, and separate dining area with plenty of seating for the group. Walk out to the wraparound deck for grilling or relaxing with a glass of wine. The screened in porch is perfect for a family game night or catching up with friends. The kids, big and small, are sure to enjoy the “tv room” and game room with a pool table, foosball and air hockey. Need an area to get away from the noise, well you’re in luck, there’s another sitting area for a total of 3 in this beautiful home. This house has a little something for everyone!

One quick note: our cabin is secluded, and without cell service. Not quite ready to completely disconnect, don’t worry, there’s a landline and the internet is super fast with 1 gig speeds.
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are. The Berkeley Springs area is a 25 minute drive from the cabin and is great for so many reasons. The town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery!
Great Cacapon, WV, is a charming destination with plenty of outdoor activities and local attractions. Here are some things to do:
1. Cacapon River (distance from house - less than a mile): Perfect for kayaking, canoeing, or tubing. Tubes are provided for your enjoyment.
2. Cacapon Mountain Brewing Co (distance from house - 10 minutes): Enjoy a variety of house-brewed beers, including IPAs, stouts, and seasonal offerings, all made with high-quality ingredients in a beautiful mountain setting.
3. Eidolon Nature Preserve (distance from house - 15 minutes): a beautiful mountaintop forest reserve with hiking trails
4. The Paw Paw Tunnel and C&O Trail (distance from house - 20 minutes): the C&O hiking and biking trail’s star attraction: a historical and cool canal tunnel over 3,000 feet long. Bring a flashlight!
5. Explore Berkeley Springs (distance from house - 20 minutes): Just a short drive away, Berkeley Springs offers spas, shopping, and mineral springs for a little extra relaxation. Check out the Ice House art gallery where Darren Smith (one of Riverwood’s owners) exhibits, find the perfect gift at cute shops, dine at tasty restaurants, and catch a movie at the classic Star Theater
6. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 30 minutes): Enjoy hiking trails, mountain biking trails, fishing, boating, horseback riding, a shooting range, and picnicking in this beautiful park. The lodge offers stunning views, and there’s a golf course for enthusiasts.
7. Historic Sites (distance from house - 45 minutes): Visit nearby historic sites like the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad for a unique train ride through the region’s beautiful landscapes.
