"The property worked well for us. Though small, it had everything we needed. Washer and dryer worked by it took a longtime to get one load done. It was a short walk across the bridge to Old Town which we expected. What we didn't expect was the road construction on the street the property sits on. We had a hard time locating the property since GPS send you to the torn up street and you can't drive down that. "If I could give zero starts for this place, I really would. The place smelled like if it was closed for 10 years and we were the first guest there. "The building is old and a bit shabby but the apartment is bright and in good condition. The kitchen door to the balcony could use a curtain for privacy. Parking is a problem. From 0900 to 2000, the entire district turns into a "short-park zone," necessitating the purchase of parking tickets that must be displayed on the dashboard and allow a maximum of three hours parking. "We met the host on the first day and never saw her again. On the second to last day of our stay, we lost internet signal. That was the day that we needed it the most. I wanted to check-in to our flight for the following day and we had to run back and forth to the shopping mall to complete out transactions. We never saw our host again. "Our stay was uncomfortable. The towels provided smelled like musty old water. The shower was also very small and the drain is clogged so you would be standing in ankle deep water in less than 5 minutes. "We had a great holiday at this beautiful property. The surroundings are amazing and the apartment is clean, spacious and has everything that you could possibly need and more. The host Linda is extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble, she is also quick to respond to messages. Don’t hesitate to book, you wont be disappointed. We will certainly be back next year,"

Fabulous on all fronts

"Wonderful hotel - exceeded expectations on all fronts - crisp, clean, spacious modern room with ample storage, a fridge ( v important for me) warm lighting, beautiful bathroom, lovely soaps, shampoos etc great coffee - but above all, the staff were quite exceptional - helpful far beyond the call of duty - highly recommended"
