Welcome to the Roth Haus - we are located on the N. Branch of The AuSable River in Lovells Township, Michigan.
This is a well-maintained Riverfront Cabin with a nice yard, fire-pit and more. There is also 1/2 of a pole barn for your use to store your ATVs, boat, or snowmobiles. Inside the home, the first floor boasts a bedroom, half-bath with washer and dryer, kitchen stocked with most anything you would need, a living room (with pull out sofa), sunroom and dining room. The first floor also has a large deck with views of the yard and river. The second floor has 2 LARGE bedrooms, the master with a King and the other with a Queen and a Trundle bed which pulls out into 2 Twins. In addition, there is the full bathroom with a tub/shower and towels/linens.
The house does have a 4G wireless router and Starlink for your connectivity and to enable any of your streaming apps on the SmartTV.
Pets are allowed, but there is a $100 fee since it requires extra cleaning.
There are ceiling and room fans throughout the house. The house stays cool. There isn't any Air Conditioning.
So, what's there to do?
Well....Golfing, Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, Floating, Boating, Skiing, 4-Wheeling, Snowmobiling, and so much more. This area literally has it all! You can also enjoy yard games, grilling, relaxing or sitting by the fire with friends.
If you are into fly-fishing, you will be walking or drifting the rivers of some of the greatest Americans...Ford, Firestone, The Dodge Brother, Edison, Hemingway, Nash and of course YOU! This area of the N. Branch is artificial fly only and we have a book in the living room to give you guidance and understanding of the river(s). You can fish the North, Main or South Branches. If fly-fishing isn't your bag, you can go to the Public Access at Shupac Lake, Jones Lake, or countless other lakes in the area.
Let's talk about Trails! There are so many snowmobile and ATV trails in the area, you probably cannot hit all of them in a year. Hike trails abound as well. You are a short drive the Hartwick Pines State Park which is our last bastion of Old Growth Pines in lower peninsula.
Paddling is also a lot of fun on the AuSable. We have the fishing book that also points out ingress/egress locations along all the rivers. Don't have a Kayak? Don't worry, we have 2 of them for your use. So, bring a cooler, maybe a few tubes and take a couple hour float or paddle and see deer, eagles, beavers, you name it, the wildlife is all around you.
