"Arrived early, not a problem. Met Lorraine who was very helpful. The Home is just stunning. I call it a home not a house, you feel that this is your home, there was not one thing I could see that anybody could complain about. When we holiday in Tassie again, which we certainly will we will base ourselves at Hawthorn House. Thank you again Lorraine, this property exceeded all our expectations,"

"We had a wonderful stay. We had all the facilities and extra's you could possibly want. We even realised the toaster wasn't working so I mentioned it and was given a replacement that day. The Communication with the property owner and organisers were amazing. Thank you for our stay"

"We would highly recommend this property. It is very high on a hilltop and has great views of the city. The place was very clean. Had upscale appliances. All amenities were there and operational. We would highly recommend this place for someone who wants quiet. It had a little bit of a walk to get to any town function. You would need a car."

"What a lovely old house we had such a lovely relaxing chilled weekend. So lovely and clean cosy and warm and comfy beds. Only 20 mins. from Launceston and the town of Exeter only Minutes away from the house for supplies. Lovely and quiet. There were only 3 of us but plenty of room for at least 8 adults. We will be back when next in the area again such a lovely view over the Tamar Valley. Cheers Maree. K and Friends"

"The room was very neat and appears to have had an upgrade at some stage. There were a few minor things that it did not have that most motels/hotels offer. No microwave, no plates or bowls, no knives or forks, no milk in fridge for a coffee or tea, no toaster. There was also a hole in the sliding door to the bathroom."
