Hotels near Gråsten Station

"First the good: Fantastic location near Flensborg Fjord. Close to the Gendarme trail, close to many historical sites, e.g. Sønderborg Castle, Gråsten Castle - we really enjoyed this location. And then the rest: The house is basic at best. Small rooms, tiny kitchen, musty smell upon arrival. The yard which looks great on the pix is not very well maintained. On the listing pix, you will see plenty of stacked firewood, but when you arrive you will find that the wood is locked up and there is a note on the fridge referring to an address where firewood can be purchased. Also, be aware that if you opt to rent linen and towels, you will be required to drive approx. 25 km (!!!) to pick these up at an address in Sønderborg, and better yet you are required to return the used linen at the same location!! Also, be aware that the property does not provide vehicle charging. All in all, I would recommend the location, but not this property in particular. "

"The apartment was great, very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem as there is reserved spaces for the hotel patrons. The area is a small town but it has a grocery store right next to the hotel and a few small restaurants if you feel like dining out."

"This historic inn in the South Jutland region of Denmark is a real gem with delightful, friendly staff who make guests welcome right from the moment they arrive. It apparently is not frequented by very many North Americans and, but for the fact my wife and I have family in the area, we would not have discovered it. It is a wonderful place to stay - for whatever reason you are visiting the area - and I can't speak highly enough of the fantastic staff who took care of us at the inn, including both dinner and breakfast. Thanks to all for a very special time. "
