This cabin is ideal for a weekend escape or an extended retreat. Located just minutes from New River and at the mouth of Helton Creek - known for it's world class trout fishing - there's plenty of adventure close by! Enjoy a movie night on the massive 78” TV or explore the charming small towns nearby.
The cabin features 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and two separate living spaces. A highlight of the cabin is the outside covered decks. Located on a peaceful hillside, you can enjoy a private setting while soaking up mountain views.
SLEEPING:
- The primary bedroom is in the upstairs loft, which features a cozy king size bed and en suite full bathroom.
- The main level features two additional bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with full over full bunk bed. In between the bedrooms is a full bathroom, which also serves the main living space.
- The walk out basement has a futon.
KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING SPACE/s:
The open kitchen and dining area are fully equipped to feed the entire family with many of the comforts of home at your disposal. It's stocked with dishware, utensils, pots and pans, glassware, small appliances, etc. The coffee bar is fully stocked with coffees and tea.
Off the kitchen space is a sitting area with a cozy fireplace, TV, games and books.
The entry to the cabin is on ground floor of the walk out basement. This living space is the perfect spot to catch up at the 78" TV and relax by the fireplace. There is a game board with foosball, table hockey, ping pong, a mini pool table and other games to entertain the little ones along with comfy bean bag chairs. This level also has a futon should you wish to utilize the additional sleeping space as well as another full bathroom. There is a full size washer and dryer as well that you're welcome to utilize.
Pack light! We provide cleaning supplies and dish soap, as well as a starter kit of paper towels and toilet paper. Bed linens and towels are also provided, along with basic amenities such as hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Guest access:
The entire home is available for your use other than the locked owners closets located in the upstairs loft bedroom. There is an additional closet in that room that is available for your use.
NICE TO KNOW:
The last approximately 3 miles to the cabin are off a gravel road.
The driveway is gravel and has a dip and then ascent to the cabin. If you're used to rural roads you may think nothing of it, but if it's your first time on the driveway, you may want to arrive in daylight to acclimate. It's not very long but it does slope at an incline to get to the cabin from the main road. There is flat parking for 2 vehicles right outside the cabin entrance. There is additional parking at the bottom of the driveway near the entrance.
OUTDOOR CAMERA:
There is an outdoor camera looking out over the driveway as well as a camera at the front entrance facing the driveway. They can record video and sound and are on 24/7.
