"It was your typical low-budget hotel. It was clean and served our purpose. The free breakfast was not what we have been accustomed to with Super 8 in the past, though. Waffle makers, pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches, and cold cereal. There were two apple juice dispensers and neither of them worked. Also, the outside door had quite a gap between the door and frame that allowed cold air in. The heater was good enough to overpower it, though. Also also... Beware of the "Sleeps 5" in the...

"The owners are about 4 months into a remodel. Some items not yet completed. Ie bathroom floor and missing closet rod. The staff was exceptionally helpful. We just needed a basic sleepover on a road trip that was pet friendly. This is a very basic and nostalgic Route 66 style motel. The bed was comfy. Room clean. "

"Listing accurately describes the unit, it does not however start to describe the outstanding scenery to get to it nor the tranquility of the home. It’s nearby the national monuments, Route 66 memorabilia and the continental divide trail. Grants does not a lot of eating establishments but the well stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy. Lovely location."
