We had a super week staying in Woodside. Well equipped and very spacious. Nice and warm during our February stay. Very convenient location for access to surrounding towns and walks.
The house exceeded our expectations - it's well equipped, very comfortable and has great views. A great base for exploring the Cairngorms and some lovely short walks in the nearby woods and along the river.
Loved our stay. Beautiful, peaceful location with lovely views with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Property was fantastic, spacious, clean and well equipped. Great communication from the owner who is lovely. We’ll definitely be back!
Very spacious and well equipped house in a perfect location to explore the Cairngorms. Our host Charlie was attentive and checked in with us during our stay. Many thanks to him for offering a last- minute booking with 24 hours' notice. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely great - ideal for touring the beautiful countryside, seeing birds and relaxing on the patio at sundowner time!
We were so fortunate to have wall to wall sunshine throughout the week.
Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes.
Grantown is just along the road with a good range of shops, cafes and other facilities. Aviemore slighly further afield for a larger shops and amenties.
Overall a throughouly enjoyable stay and communication with Charlie was excellent.
We had a great stay and communication with the owner was very straightforward. House was perfect for us and very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely come again
The property was very clean and well-appointed for a comfortable stay for a family. The photos represent the property well. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need for self-catering. No dishwasher, but that was the only thing, and we knew that from the description before making the booking. The description doesn't mention a freezer, so we weren't sure before we arrived, but it was a fridge freezer, so all good. Good communication from the owner. No issues and happy to recommend.
Surpassed expectation from the description. Very comfortable and quiet. Owner couldn't have been more helpful. Well located for the quieter side of the Cairngorms
We enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and quiet. Peaceful, rural location but close enough to shops and restaurants. The garden is a sun trap with lovely views of the hills
We came up for a week's fishing on the Spey and this cottage was superb for our needs. Adequate parking for 3 cars and only a few minutes drive to the river and the town. The facilities in the cottage were some of the best we've ever experienced and the owner was on hand had we required anything additional.
I would happily reccomend this cottage to any of my friends and we hope to return again.
