Nicely furnished 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage located close to town and main thoroughfares. Fully equipped kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, and large island for eating your meals or there is a dining table also. Queen mattress with comfortable linens in master BR. Twin bed in second bedroom. All mattresses and box springs fully enclosed for sanitation. Large closets for clothing/travel items. Queen sleeper sofa in main area for added sleeping arrangements. Infant pack-n-play provided for baby. Large bathroom with walk in jacuzzi tub equipped with hand held or mounted shower head. Washer and dryer available for laundry. Small sitting area at front and rear of home with nice yard. Parking is on the street and will accommodate two vehicles. Recreation center nearby with walking track, indoor gym, and seasonal pool. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It’s a good location if you’re looking to check out the furniture stores and spend some time in the mountains and not have a long drive to either. We had some trouble getting out before the 11:00 check out and the host was gracious enough to let us check out later without any issues. Would definitely stay here again

The cottage is very clean and homely. It is also very accommodating with a helpful information binder (this was our first VRBO stay and it was much appreciated) and miscellaneous items you may forget. It is conveniently close to Hickory and grocery stores.stors

Home is just as described, clean, very well kept . Communication excellent. Quite clean area we felt safe. Because I was traveling with a teenager it would have been nice to have a TV in the queen bedroom.

Great weekend getaway
We enjoyed our weekend stay! The house was a great size for our family of 5. Our oldest had a dance competition in Lenoir and the house was a convenient location, plus we enjoyed the comfort of being in a house over a hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Sweet Cottage
Cottage is super sweet, full of little cherry details and beautifully decorated. The host was so thoughtful and included a binder with notes on the cottage, menus to different restaurants in the area, coffee and waters and even bath bombs for the walk in jacuzzi tub. Would def book it again if I go back to the area.

such a great stay! It was a short stay for my daughters dance competition. loved having space for our 3 young children and being able to cook our meals and even do our laundry. Definitely beat staying in a hotel and having to eat out for every meal, and going home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. Very clean and the pull out couch was actually REALLY comfortable
