"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"Nous avons passe deux belles journées pour ce we prolongé, l'agencement etait parfait pour nous, 3 couples et 6 ado/ jeunes adultes. Ces derniers ont beaucoup apprécié leur espace de deux chambres en enfilade. Tres grande maison, tres bien equipee en linge de maison, vaisselle, cuisine. Une grande grange avec table de ping pong, molky, raquettes de bd et meme un trampoline ! "We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

"I would agree with other reviews but to offer a different perspective, we chose this rental for two reasons, location & access for one of us using a wheelchair. Our experience of trying to book rentals has shown that people advertising rentals are generally scared of confirming accessibility because it is so personal and subjective. Generally, what is needed is photos of thresholds/steps/WCs etc for people to make their own mind up. We "

"Dreadful steep, uneven road to get to property with nowhere to park outside property - the offer was to park in the road at the bottom of hill! However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. Definitely no good if you have mobility issues, fine if you don't! We also expected a 'sea view' - definitely not from the property! All in all, rather misleading but a...

"My husband and I had a magical ten days in this beautiful barn conversion at the edge of a Normandy forest. It was such a lovely, peaceful place with just the sound of birdsong. "The hosts were truly delightful! We arrived to an unexpected heatwave and the hosts immediately rushed out and got two large fans to help us overcome the situation.
