Overpriced and undesirable.
Very old small house with extremely uneven floors. Is advertised as “no pets’ but clearly pets have been there. Pet hair everywhere. Strip club on same block with sleazy clientele parking on street late at night. Way overpriced.

Good location
I was mistakenly expecting laundry facilities. The kitchen was missing a couple of nice touches (dishwasher, pancake flipper) but the appliances were nice. The owner was responsive.

Great Place minus the double booking
When we arrived at the first place we found that it was already occupied.....Boo!! It had been double booked even though I had rented, had the money taken out of my account including deposit at the beginning of April and we booked for June 13. Luckily Mike had another property that was available for us. It was a good location to downtown. If you’re really ambitious you could walk but we used Uber and cost us a total of $8 one way, well worth it! IF I book again I guess I would triple check that it is truly available as each email and message clearly stated the property was.

2 weeks and still waiting for the deposit return
The property was exactly as advertised. My one complaint is that I checked out 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive our deposit back or any communication as to why. I contacted the owner and the only reply I have received is that he said he would check on it. I really do not know why there has been a delay as we did no damage to the property!

Great overnight spot
The house was clean, stocked well, and a quick ride (or decent walk over the bridge) to downtown. It was perfect for our group and Mike was helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Good location, comfortable surroundings, and easy check in/out.
We booked this trip for a 30th birthday getaway. We used inexpensive uber/lyft to get around town but could have walked if the weather was better. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable large living space.

An excellent value
Located in the center of an older residential neighborhood, it's hard to beat the value this rental represents. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The master bedroom was comfortable and the second bedroom could easily sleep 4 kids in the double/bunk/trundle combination. Within a mile are some great pubs and restaurants. Coffee and donuts are at Tim Hortons 1/4 mile away. A great choice.

Cute and clean
We had a great experience. Owner was prompt and courteous with any concerns. Open lot next door to play frisbee and football. Easy access to downtown.

Good location, nice place to stay.
Rented this house for two weeks, and it worked out perfectly. The location is great for just about everything. Within 5 minutes to most things and 15 minutes at the longest for some other activities. Had fun hanging in the yard and watching the world go by. House worked out for two adults and two teenagers. It is a funky little bungalow, but that is also it's charm. Had a great stay.

Great Value
This clean and neat home is a perfect place for a GR getaway! What draws you in is the price compared to what you would need to spend for a hotel in this great city!

Cute cottage downtown
Very close to the Van Andle we could uber each way and very affordable. I'm sure we could of walked if it hadn't been raining. The house was perfect for us girls! Thanks for letting us stay

Cozy Cottage
Nice little cottage that worked fine for my friend and myself. We were in town for a conference at the DeVos Center and it worked well as it was within walking distance and we didn't have to pay for parking. Each of us had a bedroom. The kitchen had ALMOST everything we needed - it lacked measuring cups, but that has been remedied for future guests. All in all a nice place to stay. I don't think I'd want to with more than three or four (max) people in the house.

Too many people in too small space
Owner communicated well and was friendly. Central location. 5 adults staying in a place that slept seven was too much. Small rooms, small bathroom. Tall guests felt cramped. WiFi not apparent... would have appreciated a “Welcome Note”.

Quaint house in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown
Clean, well maintained house. Well stocked with everything you could need. Close, walking distance to downtown. Close to the freeway so it is easy to get anywhere you want to go. Mike is great. He responds quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful little house near Downtown Grand Rapids!
This is a wonderful little house about 5 minutes away from downtown and about 15min from everything else in Grand Rapids. The neighborhood was quiet and the house had everything we needed for a 4 day trip for Thanksgiving.

Nice place to stay near downtown Grand Rapids
We had a very nice three night stay. Newly renovated home, clean and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood. Less than five minute drive downtown or 15 minute walk to great restaurants. We also drove to the beach each day (Grand Haven) which is about 25-30 minutes away. Melinda
