"We had an amazing 2 nights stay in this property. Sebastien was such a great and accommodating host. He greeted us on arrival to give us a tour the home and met us at the house during our check out. We even got to meet his adorable dog during our check out. He was also very easy to contact if we had any questions. The house is gorgeous inside and outside. The dining and living rooms were very large and accommodated 10 people easily. The garden area is huge with lots of outdoor seating and dining...

The villa is located about 15 minutes drive outside Lyon city center which was absolutely perfect as we were able to enjoy clean air and nature in a hilly countryside while still being close to everything Lyon has to offer. Would definitely stay here again and recommend without reservation! We also came during the summer heat wave and were happy to stay at Villa Castel which is on the hill and a few degrees cooler than the city, especially at night!!"

"Originally only booked for 1 month as we were relocating to France, however due to the Covid-19 outbreak ended up staying for 3 months, and could not have been in a better place. "During the heat of our 4 weeks in France, it was very pleasant to take a 8km twisting road into the cool uplands and enjoy the garden and surrounding farms of this house. Our group, fit walkers al over 70, did find it difficult to easily get into the back garden over the craggy steps without a railing. Since we had all all our meals there and spent so much time there, we often were concerned one of us would fall or break a leg.. this is a danger to anyone and should be corrected. "The house was perfect for a large group and stocked with everything we needed. The metro and grocery are within a short walking distance. "

"This was a great place to spend a family Christmas, complete with Xmas tree. The property is very clean and well-equipped, with plenty of space to spread out. It is close to two supermarkets as well as other shops and the metro into the centre. It was easy to access from the airport using the tram / metro. Getting into the centre of Lyon was also quick. The owner was helpful and gave us plenty of information. Definitely recommend for large groups."
