Fantastic Location
We loved every minute of our stay in Grand Marais. This property was perfect for my partner and I to unwind and take in the sunrise over the lake. Can't beat the location or views!

This charming little studio is right on the beach with views of artist’s point and the sunrise. Despite a tired mattress, I slept well to the sound of waves. Would definitely book again!

We loved our visit to Grand Marais! The room was adorable and perfect for a couples getaway trip. The views of the lake from the big picture window were amazing. Furnishings were comfortable and clean. Perfect location to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay in grand marais for the weekend. I’ve been to town a few times and this is by far the best location I’ve stayed and definitely the best view. 10/10 would recommend!

I Want to Keep this a Secret
This is just the most remarkable little one-room VRBO. You will NEVER regret staying here. You have a close-up view of Lake Superior while sitting in bed! We have stayed here a few times, along with many other incredible and unique VRBO's over the past 10 years and this will always be a favorite!

Great place and location
Perfect location right on Superior and walking distance to everything you need in Grand Marais. Old and rustic lodging perfect for two people. The only downside is that you hear the upstairs unit occupants conversation clear as day and the bed is right below the upstairs main living room, so you hear every step made from upstairs.

Right on the shore of Lake Superior
This is a very homey room. It was nice to sit on the lakeshore in the Adirondack chairs and have a glass of wine while watching the waves and gulls. Easy walk to several restaurants and Artist's Point. Great view!

Beautiful views!
We had a little hiccup in the reservation but the owner made it right. The place was just perfect for a couple of old friends on an adventure. So close to everything and yet quiet and serene. We will be back! 😀

Perfect place for a Grand Marais exploration
The place was small, cozy, and the thin walls of the old log structure are just fine if you have ear plugs or use a sound machine. Also, bring toiletries of your own since they only have standard soap. It's worth the location right on the Artists point peninsula and coast guard/lighthouse public park on one side with easy walking to shopping and food on the other.

A bay view
This is a lovely little rental with amazing views of the bay. If you rise early the sunrise is right out the window. It is an older building and the people above can be heard but we didn't find it took away from our conversation experience.

My 3rd time staying there and always awesome
I continue to rent the little studio on the bid lake because the location is so amazing and the price and property are just awesome. Communication with landlord always a breeze. Location means walk to Artists Point, less than a block from fresh doughnuts, two blocks from shops and grocery stores. Or just sit on the chairs on your own privare beach and watch the sea birds. Itll always be my favorite Grand Marias rental.

A totally magical experience!
My partner and I stayed two nights, and our only regret was that we didn’t take more time off. The room is very cute and rustic in the best possible ways. It has ample accommodations along with a woodsy lake charm. This property is literally right on the beach; we enjoyed a beach side fire both nights, and watched the sunrise on the beach with our coffee each morning. There is so much to do and see in Grand Marais and just up north to Grand Portage. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

Cute room
This was a cute cabiny, old timey feel room right on the east bay. It was quite rainy our 2nd day/night, I would trim back the raspberry bushes and clean the windows for a nicer lake view. We were on the main floor and could hear the upstairs neighbors easily. But loved being right in town and walking everywhere!
