Only a couple things to complain about- the vending machines weren’t working or full and parking was definitely not easy when you go during prime snowmobile season! Overall it was a beautiful place. Met lots of new people and the staff were great and willing to work with us when we had to leave early. We would definitely stay here again probably when it’s a little warmer!

Pros: Inexpensive, conveniently in Grand Marais, separate recycle bin (yay!), excellent staff member (Jasmine!), very large and deep hot tub (but maybe full of local slednecks). Cons: Water not very hot. Mattresses waaaaay too soft. Dated decor (not a problem for me but some may have issues), hot tub / pool closes too early (9pm) and opens too late (9pm) to be useful for someone like me.

The manager was unreal. I believe his name is Trey. He deserves a raise. So friendly and we will go back. Great breakfast. So clean and our room was fantastic I recommend this place if you have a family. 2 rooms in one and a pool. Thank you for everything.
