The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The view from the deck was perfect all day. Great view of the Milky Way at night. 10 minute drive from some great hiking trails and boat rental. We saw deer on the property almost every evening.

Grand Lake Getaway
The property was beautiful and exactly as described. 10 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park made a quick trip to enjoy the best nature has to offer. Grand lake is a cute little mountain town with several nice shops and a fair amount of convenience.Would definitely recommend!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was located in a great place, had beautiful views of Grand Lake. It was close to Grand Lake, where we all like to shop when we are there. Roger, the owner, was very nice and helpful during out stay. I will definitely put this house on my list of places to stay for our annual trips to Grand Lake!

This place is great. Roger was amazing so accommodating to me and my family as we were preparing to spread my parents ashes at Williams Fork. Location great. Outdoor space amazing, as I am all about the outdoor space when I rent. Great place for dogs as well my pups enjoy a lot.

Great stay, awesome host
Our host, Roger, was great. He made sure that our check in went smoothly, provided details that made check in a breeze! The house was easy to find, easy to get into, super clean, amazing views, stocked with everything that you could possibly need. Everything was labeled. Menus and details about the surrounding areas were plentiful, there were games that the whole family enjoyed. Beds were comfy! The deck was well stocked with furniture and there were views from every angle. Great time of year to visit Grand Lake too! We rented a boat and we were so lucky to witness a mama moose and her baby swim by right in front of our boat. It was super special. Thank you very much, Roger, for being such a gracious host.

Peaceful in grand lake
We had a lovely time at the Grand Lake house! Only a few short minutes to town and activities. The kitchen is stocked with supplies so you can make a real meal for your group. Super quiet in the neighborhood and hosts are friendly and responsive. We had a great time!

Great gathering place
This home was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for an adult family vacation. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and outside grill and had everything we needed to prepare meals for 7 people. Large dining table seated us all comfortably. Large spacious deck with beautiful view of shadow mountain lake. Perfect place for us to come together as a family and relax, visit, play games and share meals. Only 5 minutes from town and the lake. Roger, our host was extremely communicative and left us lots of information for how to use the house and find everything we needed. The beds were comfy and they provided. Extra pillows which I love! We made wonderful memories and appreciate the opportunity to stay in this home again on our next trip.

Amazing stay with an incredible view
Roger was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had at a vacation rental. We have a 1 and 3 year old and he let us check in early so they could get their nap in. The outdoor deck was a great place for happy hour and star gazing. The indoor space worked well and it had the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. We would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone.

Wonderful family home
Our stay did not feel like a rental but like we were visiting family. There were many appreciated extra touches like Kleenex, extra towels, hand lotions and hair products, and sleds. When our host, Roger, learned of our late arrival he had lights turned on for us. He also left us with so much local information only an idiot wouldn't have fun in the area. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Grand Lake Cabin for 8
We found this cabin to be well stocked and very clean. The huge deck was a joy to sit and overlook Shadow Mountain Lake. A short drive took us in to the Village of Grand Lake for activities and souvenir shopping. More than adequate parking since our family met at the cabin for our stay. We were happy to pay the additional fee for our small dog and appreciated the opportunity to bring him. We would be happy to recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a mountain getaway.

This was the perfect house for our family vacation! It was very clean and everything that we needed was there, including toilet paper and papertowels. Hand lotion in the master bath was a delightful perk! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the well-stocked condiments and spices were a huge plus. The house was conveniently located to town and hiking trails. Roger even told us about some nearby tennis courts! The beds were very comfortable and the house was lovely and clean. We loved hanging out on the fabulous deck! Roger was an amazing host and did a great job of quickly responding to any questions that we had. We would definitely highly recommend staying here!

we have rented vacation homes usually twice a year for many years. roger's place was just about the cleanest we have ever encountered and the whole process was seamless. i wanted to speak with roger while checking out but the guy was snow plowing the driveway and i wanted to get out of the way so he could do the whole driveway.....wanted to also apologize to roger if he is not a morning person.....it was a wednesday morning before 0700 and our dogs started barking.....they are city dogs and there were moose next door!!!

Cozy Spot, Amazing View, Has Everything You Need!
We absolutely loved our stay here in Grand Lake! Roger (property owner) was incredibly friendly and accommodating, checking in to make sure our stay was comfortable. He even brought us an ethernet cable in case the WiFi was inconsistent, as he knew we'd be working from home during the day (the WiFi was totally fine btw!). The place is warm and cozy and quiet, the deck is HUGE with a great BBQ and tons of seating, the view is amazing (tons of windows!), and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked. My favorite part was the fireplace and the large flat screen TV :-) Loved the proximity to RMNP and other outdoor activities - we saw foxes, moose, elk, and otters nearby. The one thing to call out is that the two markets in town are super small, so we did have to drive into Granby a few times to go to City Market and stock up. Would absolutely love to stay here again next time we're in town!!

Perfect for our needs!!!
We loved the place, it was perfect for the 4 of us with room to spare. Its located close to both Lake Granby (we were there for the 3 Lakes tournament) and Grand Lake. The owners take pride in the home and it shows! There's ample parking, for my truck and trailer to fit plus plenty more. The owner has taken the time to label some/most of the cabinets, switches, and small characteristics of the home. That made it so easy to find the things we were looking for without having to go though everything for something basic. You have a great view of Shadow Mountian from the East side windows, which is fantastic. We all agreed that this might be our favorite place out of the 4 places we have stayed in this neighborhood. It is definitely at the top of my list and will be the first place we try to book when we are ready for another trip (hopefully sooner than later).

Grand Lake Lakehouse Review
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Lake Lakehouse, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences of my life. The house is located on the shores of beautiful Grand Lake, and it is surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests. The views from the house are simply stunning, and I could have spent hours just sitting on the deck and taking in the scenery. The house itself is spacious and well-appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. There is also a large deck, which is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. The location of the Grand Lake Lakehouse is also perfect. It is close to a number of hiking trails, fishing spots, and other outdoor activities. There are also a number of restaurants and shops within a short drive, so you can easily get everything you need without having to leave the area. Roger was very friendly and helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure that we had a great stay. He was always available to answer questions or help with anything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Grand Lake Lakehouse. It is the perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.
