Perfect Cozy Cabin
This cabin was exactly what we wanted. My 10 year old wanted to camp but with a bathroom, WiFi, and not in a tent. Cute small cabin with a sitting area, tv, bathroom, and bed. The cabin was clean and well prepared. The bed was very comfortable. I was a little worried about noise being on the end but we didn’t hear anything, including people in the parking lot. Was a great stay for us.

Cabin 11 Stay
The property location was great just 2 short blocks from Main Street, it was quiet and it was newly remodeled. The bed was comfortable but it did not have a warm blanket for the cold evening temperatures. The lights by the bed were not bright enough to read by. There were no instructions on how to operate the 3 electric heaters, the on demand hot water or the streaming TV that lost its Wifi connection several times. The toilet was not properly secured to the floor. The advertisement on VRBO for the property did not mention it had a microwave or a gas grill. We would have brought food to cook if we would have known they had a grill. These are all correctable items which would make the stay even more enjoyable. Grand Lake is a lovely area and we hope to return soon.

Cute little cabin right near town
The cabin was nice and close to town. We stayed friday evening through Sunday morning. There is no kitchen but there is a mini fridge, microwave, coffe and tea maker, along with dishes and silverware. There is a TV that allows you to connect to hubs or watch regular TV. It is in a great location, only a minute or two walk from the main street and the lake. The historic rapids lodge and restaurant is in the same parking lot, the atmosphere and food there was wonderful. They allow dogs which was perfect for my boyfriend and I's two dogs. When we arrived some of the lights didnt work, i attempted to call the property management company but got no answer, but they texted back promptly saying they would address the issue, but we found the fuse box in the meantime and were able to fix the problem. The only other issue we encountered was the water not working the morning we left, possible frozen pipes. I let the management company know. Luckily we were headed out so it didnt hinder our stay much. Overall, it was a great little cabin, perfect for our weekend stay on Grand Lake with our dogs.

2nd Honeymoon 40 Years Later
My wife and I decided to go to Colorado for our 40th anniversary since that is where we went for our honeymoon. A friend who has a place in Silverthorn suggested the scenic area of Grand Lake. It was easy to see the little lag cabin where we stayed had been renovated so it was very clean. The only issues we had were the approach to the front door was very wet and dirty. The mat that was down was disgusting with hair all over it and it was very wet and muddy. Inside there was not one lamp which is nice to have without always having to turn on ceiling lights. One more thing missing were shelves in the shower. The shower itself was very nice, but we were very surprised there was not even one shelf for shampoo and soap. My wife also said it would have been nice to have a hair blower. These are all suggestions, and if they occur, we might be back.
