Perfect location, beautiful cabin
A 3-minute drive to RMNP entrance, this place was a gem. Lovely, secluded, everything you could need and want. Lovely patio for morning coffee watching the pond. Comfortable beds and two bathrooms, everybody had a lovely space. The park boundary is right next to the cabin, making it even more amazing. The hosts were gracious and welcoming and truly thought of everything. It’s rustic and modern all at once—perfect. If you are planning a trip to the Grand Lake side of the park look no further!

Beautiful scenic location
We had an amazing time. The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean and neat. The owner met us at the door to give us the key and give us the tour of the house. The view from the porch was absolutely beautiful. The location couldn’t have been any better. Right in of everything you would want to do. I would stay there again for sure.

Perfect home base for RMNP
We stayed here for 5 nights in early October to celebrate our wedding anniversary and explore RMNP. I've been very happy with all the VRBO's we've rented, but this one was outstanding! Renee was a perfect hostess, lives adjacent to the property, and easily helped me fix a blunder I'd made when booking. The house itself is very comfortable and seems to hold tons of good memories. The decorations fit the house perfectly with so many personal touches such as handmade pillowcases. The beds were made up just right, and there was even a fresh flower bouquet on the dining table. Kitchen is very well stocked with just about anything you could need to prepare meals. Mountain Market is very close and had a great selection for groceries. While this place has excellent access to RMNP (west entrance gate & visitor center is just around the corner, and the park border is literally steps from the back deck), we honestly enjoyed the view through the picture windows from the comfy couch in the living room as much as anything in the park. It was so relaxing to watch the ducks and muskrat in the gorgeous lily pond with the golden aspen leaves reflected in the pond. Coyote Valley Trail on west side of RMNP is a nice, nearby easy/accessible walk with nice sunset views and wildlife viewing in the evening. We spotted a herd of elk! Nice hiking in Bear Lakes area, about 1.5 hour drive over the mountains, a fun drive. We hope to return for another stay!

Great house to hang in nature
We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The house was nice, clean and well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, etc... The view of the pond was great for relaxing and reading a book while spotting ducks, muskrats and water birds. An easy drive to the town of Grand Lake but gives you a little extra quiet.

Outstanding!
This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is very convenient to town and lakes. The house is in a beautiful setting, quiet and private in the woods with beautiful views. We enjoyed watching the ducks and beaver in the little lake right out the back door. Frequently saw deer. We were able to hike around in RMNP which is steps from the patio. The house is very comfortable. A “cabin feel” with many nice upgrades. Modern kitchen with everything needed to cook. It has been well maintained, stocked and very clean. The host, Renee and her husband were great. They went well above and beyond to make a wheelchair ramp into front door which made it much more convenient for us. The floors, master bedroom and updated master bath are wheelchair accessible. We have rented many places around Grand Lake and this is by far the best! Will definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and located on a lily pond. We woke up in the morning to Moose near and in the pond. The proximity to RMNP was helpful and the Grand Lake downtown was close and didn’t disappoint. Overall a very positive stay. We will be back.

Perfect Christmas Getaway! Our family had the most incredible time at this Gran Lake cabin over the holidays. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. The cabin itself was immaculate and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze. We appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the entire property. The cozy atmosphere made our Christmas celebration truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better place to create lasting memories with our loved ones. We highly recommend this Vrbo stay and can't wait to return! Very important: the host was always in contact with me taking care of everything

What a great location!! It borders the National park and sits overlooking a beautiful pond. It is very close to Grand Lake for dining and shopping. The property was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The host was helpful and knowledgeable. My sister and her grandson and I had the best stay!! We didn’t want to leave. This is the best property I have stayed with from VRBO. I would love to stay here again if I visit the RMNP in the future. I give this property a five star plus rating!

Rights of Passage
The home entry invites you to unload your worries and cares right-away, leaving them on coat hooks and boot benches. The foyer full paned glass door leads to the heart of the home. A wall of windows introduce you to the wilds of the outdoors from the ease of cushy arm rests indoors. From the stone hearth windows into the kitchen, two full walls of granite counter space and appointed appliances, everyone cooked their specialty in this kitchen. If it wasn’t the smoky bbq ribs from the deck and stone yard bbq it was a breakfast quiche chased by many cups of coffee alto late evening scoops of ice cream over warm pie for dessert. Our family culinary inner-chef was set free at every meal. The temps were 45-78 degrees, this made the outdoor yard spaces our in-and-out leisure time. The back of the home is waterfront, full of chatter from laughing squirrels, clacking ducks and fly-by trills of Osprey. Which was the best view of the water, from indoors or out, was the days voting challenge. The home offered tv related options and the internet was better than our home. The split bedroom floor plan made it convenient to serve the night owls and the early risers of our family. The outdoor setting of the home calms the senses and the indoors hosted our style of family experiences. What we appreciated was just “a-phone-call-away”, we had access to the host. This is not often experienced after your reservation has been paid. A great asset. Thank you for opening your home.

Magical Mountain Getaway
So thankful for the days we had "On Lilly Pond". The cabin is a true treasure: tastefully appointed, spacious, well-outfitted, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing out back - cooking on the grill, visiting around the gas fire pit table, and paddle boarding on the pond down the hill. Renee was a dream to work with!

Amazing!
The property and house were perfect for a relaxing family vacation!! The location was great!! Close enough to town and RMNP but quiet and beautiful on the lily pond. We saw moose and mule deer almost every morning or afternoon. We saw a momma and baby moose most days and on our last morning a bull moose came through the yard. Renee was a wonderful host and so easy to work with! Our family had the best time and hope to return in the future!

Great relaxing vacation
We had a great stay at the lily pond house in Grand Lake. The house borders Rocky Mountain National Park so it is really quiet and peaceful. We were treated to moose sightings daily. We also had plenty of deer and elk visits. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck bird watching on the lake. And we enjoyed staying at the house to cook and visit with family. The house is rustic enough to get the sense that you are in the mountains and has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need to make meals, grill, sit by the fire table. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of all the bedding, towels etc for the whole family. Renee is super attentive and communicative. We would go back for sure! The whole family loved it.

Delightful Retreat
Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at this mountain home which sits on the border of the Rocky Mountain National Park and minutes away from the main street in Grand Lake. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals. Added touches of fresh flowers, chocolates, and soaps and lotions made us feel welcomed and well cared for during our stay. The moose and her baby were a delight to watch, from inside the house, as they bedded down off the back porch at night, and were there in the mornings, grazing and playing. Thank you! We'll be back!

Beautiful home and an awesome location
We have been lucky to stay in several VRBO properties and this one was absolutely terrific. It was very quiet and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The view out the windows of the small pond was lovely. We had deer on the back patio the first morning. We enjoyed the beautiful clear night sky and even took some photos of the milky way from the yard. The home was very clean and all the kitchen appliances, pots and pans, etc were all new. The home was perfectly decorated for a relaxing mountain get away. We were greeted with fresh flowers which was especially nice. The living room was welcoming and comfortable for our family. The Colorado Photography book on the coffee table was very informative and interesting. The fall colors were near their peak and we enjoyed driving around and seeing all the beautiful yellow aspens. Renee was always very responsive to us and an excellent host. We hope to stay at this wonderful home again in our future travels to Rocky Mountain National Park.
