Located just a 10-minute drive from downtown Grand Haven, this spectacular location truly boasts the best of both worlds with over 3.5 acres of privacy offering the most amazing vistas and a private, sandy beach.

Built in 1935, this charming home features original tongue and groove woodwork throughout. Designed with travelers in mind, this cottage provides everything you need to take advantage of this beautiful, natural setting and enjoy long, lazy days surrounded by tranquility.

INSIDE THE HOME
The main floor features a spacious living and dining area with plenty of options to gather together or break away for quiet conversation. Step out to the roomy, attached lake-facing screened porch for your morning coffee or cozy up in the evening to watch the famous Lake Michigan sunsets. Plan your daily meals in the roomy kitchen and step out to the second attached screened porch where you will find plenty of room to serve everyone at the spacious farmhouse dining table. A convenient main floor bedroom with a full bed and separate full bath completes this floor.

Wander upstairs where you will find a lake-facing bedroom with two twins, a bunk room with one set of twin bunks and an additional twin bed, and a fabulous master bedroom with a king bed, twin daybed, half bath, and amazing private sundeck overlooking the shoreline. An additional full bath completes this floor.

THE LOCATION
Step outside to enjoy the day lounging in the sunshine on your remote stretch of sandy beach. Rent kayaks or paddleboards locally and explore the shoreline at your own pace. Keep an eye out for local deer who occasionally wander from the wooded dune to the lake for a refreshing drink of water.

Retreat to the cottage after a day in the sun and plan a barbecue on the side deck or take a short drive to nearby Grand Haven/Spring Lake and enjoy local pubs or fine dining. Treat everyone to ice cream, walk along the channel, and watch the boats travel by. Plenty of retail therapy options can be found as well in this bustling resort town.

Once back at your retreat, wind down the evening with a fire in the new Solo Stove while making plans for your next day's adventures.

* Please note, this home does not have a washer/dryer on site. There is no air conditioning, but the lake breeze is cooler in the evening. The fire place is purely decorative and not for guest use. *

PARKING
Parking is located in the large gravel area next to the home. This can fit approximately 4-6 vehicles.

CANCELLATION POLICY
-100% refund (minus a VRBO fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
-50% refund (minus a VRBO fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
-No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before the reservation date.

There are no refunds for early departures, a reduction in nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

This property is locally managed by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide a starter kit of paper products, toiletries, hospitality-grade linens, and much more.
