"A great base in Halls Gap for exploring the Grampian mountains. The lodge had everything we needed for cooking ourselves but was also an easy walk along from Halls Gap where there were cafes and pubs. Options were slightly limited by the bush fires which was totally understandable. We were glad to support the businesses that were open. "

"The property is only a ten minute walk into the town centre. It was clean and provided all we needed for a two night stay. The owner kindly let us know when there were animals around, we had the pleasure of meeting an echidna and there are plenty of kangaroos around too! Prices are reasonable and match the properties offerings. "

"The pyramid cabin was great. Everything inside was thoughtfully organised, right down to the measuring cups in the kitchen. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Food preparation was easy as we had all the implements at hand. We made duck soup with buckwheat noodles. The beds were warm and we didn’t even need to use the electric blankets."

"Great stay. It is a beautiful place and the cabin was spacious and comfortable - as was the common room. The kitchen is outdoors and provides cooking utensils but don't expect anybody else to clean for you. Also you should provide your own food. As it is pretty far out the landscape and the stars are amazing. If the owner is not at the reception when you arrive, just give him a call. He is friendly and fun and can give you some tips for hiking. We did enjoy our stay."

"Lovely cabin, looked a little dated as all we could book at late notice was the economy option but everything worked as it should. Great location in the centre of Halls Gap with the canyon walls as a backdrop. So easy to reach restaurants & bars. Climbs through the rocks of varying difficulties. Facilities clean and plenty of wildlife to watch. We will come back."
