"It was a lovely hotel and not too far to walk to main attractions and restaurants. Pool was very nice and lovely to get a short swim in and relax after long car journey . Bit of a walk up from restaurant in evening unfortunately lift stopped at 8pm. Only thing check in is from 4 and could have done with it being bit earlier even though could park there ."

"The location is a plus near to the lift to the town and the castle. The pool was an added bonus. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little dated but functional and they allow dogs. "

"We had a wonderful two week stay at this property.. Serge & Solange were lovely hosts & very responsive to any questions asked.. The pool & garden area were well used by my 3 children. The pool was immaculate & tended to twice weekly by Serge.. We loved our neighbours - a herd of cows in the field adjoining the property, they were great to watch from the terrace. this was a great base to visit the local area, we canoed & visited nearby towns & villages, along with the caves which was a great experience.. We would not hesitate to book this property again.. Thank you to Serge & Solange for a lovely stay.. "

"Welcoming, very pleasant & helpful staff. Room clean & modern. Stairs quite steep, there is a lift to the 1st floor only, suppose because it is an older building. Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. We very much enjoyed our stay"
