"We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. "My friend and I rented this place and really enjoyed it, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and they did a lot with the space. The bedrooms were nice even though there were no photos of them and the area is quiet. The lack of photos is why I put 3 stars for accuracy since it was hard to know what the rooms would be like. "Very nice cottage located on an island. The place was nice and clean and many amenities were provided. My friends and I had a lot of fun! The sunsets were also gorgeous when sitting on the docks. Would have been nice to have wifi, but host provided many dvds to watch throughout the stay. Host was also very nice and always responded within minutes. Would definitely recommend a stay!"

"The cottage was very nice and fully stocked. It was perfect with young kids. The outside lawn between the 2 large maples is where we spent so much of our time playing games and running around. "My family and I enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Very relaxing just sitting there by the lakeside in the morning while i drink my coffee...and then fire pit at night with some smores. Wisdom and Mike were very accommodating and always very helpful. They have one thing in mind...to make customers happy and satisfied. And that's what's they do! Very quick to respond to your needs. I will surely recommend this place!"

"The property is in a beautiful location, peaceful, but the Neighbours are not happy to see different people going for a walking. They may following you asking what are looking for it. Very weird. The house is spacious and has plenty of room. It’s old and need some updates. The washrooms and floors should be better cleaned. Hot tub was clean and warm, it was very nice to relax. Pool table was fun to play as well. Overall it was a great stay. "

Because of our larger family (5 people plus our dog) we actually switched to the 5 bedroom cottage and paid the difference. The property is beautiful, very quiet at the end of the cul-de-sac.
