"This is our second three-week stay at Ocean Waves, which was wonderful once again. We keep returning because the house has everything we need and Lachelle is an excellent host. It’s a 3-minute walk to a near-empty beach on the Atlantic side, a 7-minute drive to a beautiful beach on the Caribbean side, and only a short drive to the restaurants and supplies in Governor’s Harbour. Highly recommended!"

"We provisioned the second day of our stay and then never left the house. The pool is just amazing (we paid for the heater), and very sunny. It was too windy for swimming in the sea, but it looked like it would be great snorkeling. Deborah was extremely responsive and helpful. The ne day we went out we had lunch at Pascal’s across the street which is on a very nice Atlantic beach. "

"Purple Papaya checked off all of our boxes. It was clean, with a pool, and the view, my God, the view. Everyday we walked on the beach, got in the ocean, got in the pool only to take another walk during the sunset. Watching the sunrise was life changing!! Only God could create something so beautiful and Purple Papaya provided that for us!!"

"We had an incredible two-week stay at this home with our group of three couples. The attention to detail and care put into every aspect of this property made it stand out as one of the best vacation rentals we’ve experienced.The communication with the host was responsive, clear, and thoughtful. It was evident they truly care about their guests' experience, and everything about the home reflected this. The outdoor amenities were a huge highlight for us. Unlike many other rentals, this property went above and beyond with thoughtful extras like boogie boards, pool toys, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and a stand-up paddleboard. These touches added so much fun to our days. The pool itself was a favorite hangout spot, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing or soaking up the beauty of the location.The home is in a very convenient location on the quieter side of the island with easy access to everything you need. We had no trouble finding groceries, supplies, and great local restaurants. One of the best parts of our stay was meeting friendly locals who were welcoming. The island offers access to many incredible sandy beaches, all within a 10-20 minute drive. Some roads are rough, but the island is working to improve them.If you’re looking for a vacation rental that combines hospitality, attention to detail, outdoor amenities, and a peaceful yet convenient location, this is the one. We highly recommend it!"

"This house and the other one next door that Barbi owns, Bonefish Barbi’s, are both wonderful vacation homes. They’re clean, comfortable and convenient to the airport, Governors Harbour, and other places on the island if you have a car and are inclined to explore. Barbi is very responsive to questions and. Is very easy to work with. After staying in many other places around Governors Harbour over the years, these two houses have been my favorites, which is why I keep coming back to them. "
